I found this place accidentally and It was like finding THE chocolate treasure. The place is run by the charming Japanese pastry chef Miyuki Watanabe. It has four - five tables where you can sit and enjoy a "chocolat chaud" and her famous "mont blanc". My favorite is the "chocolate and framboise" which is one of the most heavenly chocolate... My daughter and I visited to buy chocolates for gifts. The young Japanese assistant was lovely and so helpful. We couldn't resist stopping there for coffee and cake..... The most delicious cake I have tasted ......... Do try 😃

Very disappointed with this little pastry shop. In the 11 years I've been living in France I have never come across such bad service. The ladies were extremely rude to us, if I hadn't been with visiting friends I would have walked straight out. Très déçu de ce petit endroit qui avait l'air si charmant. Ça fait onze ans que... This tiny coffee house is simply amazing. I lived in the area for a couple years, now every time that I come back in Paris I cannot stop myself from doing the detour to taste again the delicious cakes and chocolates. The "Alexandra" is simply the best ever cake I had in my whole life. The chocolates such as the... More

I hate Sundays when I go jogging because I know that I will not resist to drive and stop at La Petite Rose on my way back home. All that running, sweating and efforts to loose weight are vain when I swallow with guilt, the supreme tarts, or macaron or the devil like, Mendiants, or (seasonaly) the Perfect Mont Blanc.... More

Considering the owner is Japanese and he showed great enthusiasm for french mastery of chocolate making this place offers a glimpse of how chocolate, if prepared properly, should taste like. A bit on the expensive side but nevertheless delicious!

I go here regularly as it provides a welcome break after a busy day. The chocolate shop and tea room combines two of my favorite places. In case you haven't learned, if you miss lunch in Paris, you can't eat dinner in a normal restaurant until 7pm so tea is always a good option. This little place is wonderful in... More

We love our cakes and couldn't resist the temptation of lunch here too! Surprise yourself and order the vegetable soup.. something I had never seen before (looked like milk with ground lentils or similar in it). The quiche was yummy too. We rounded off our meal with one of the many cakes and even took away some of the hand... More
