Just been there for cocktails on a rainy Saturday evening. Good deal for the money at happy hour but bar tender and other personnel was a bit unmotivated. Overall ok

Stumbled upon this place while shopping with my wife. We enjoyed a little wine and a lovely light pasta dish. Desert was very generous portion and was easily sharable. The decor was the cutest that we came across in all of the cafes we visited.

When visiting Le Marais needing lunch we found this Brasserie. Ideal for a snack lunch of Croque Monsieur or Madame. Good service, nice atmosphere. We are glad we came.

We were searching for a place for breakfast on a Sunday morning when we stumbled upon this bistro. We were early for brunch by Parisian standards (10 AM) so we were the only customers. Our server was very pleasant. We ordered the brunch special (Les...More

Had a delicious lunch here - very pleasant place, friendly staff, well-cooked modern bistro-style food. Not cheap, but well worth the cash - and clearly a place that is popular with the locals. Great find!

We stopped in here one afternoon for a late afternoon snack & drink. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The cheese & charcuterie platter was large and delicious - the good liver pate was amazing! We enjoyed it so much that we went back...More

Description
PRIVILEGED LOCATION - Just steps from the Place des Vosges, you will find a very nice sign: Au Pied de Fouet, an institution retains its own character despite years. ENDANGERED SPECIES - Au Pied de Fouet, all products are produced and / or processed on site. Map and daily specials offer value rare in Paris: duck confit, fish of the day, meats and cheeses. IN SEARCH OF LOST TIME - Au Pied de Fouet, we go for the warmth of the hosts. We go for a simple menu, honest and for cheeses and desserts. We go if we want something other than the crowded tourist restaurants.
