Romantic small restaurant near the Arc de Triomphe

I ate here because it was close to my hotel, but this restaurant is worth traveling to even if you aren't staying nearby. The menu is limited, but all of the food is well-prepared and served promptly. I had a fish dish, but the meat dishes also looked very good. The tables are a little close... read more

This was our second year at Chez Gabrielle - we missed it last year but made sure we got back this year. It was just as good as we remembered. In fact, it had the BEST foie gras we had in Paris! It is heavenly!! Had it both times we visited this year. First visit we had scallops and fish.... More

We did not believe to find such a gem on such short distance to the Arc de Triomphe: the food is elegant, super tasty, fresh and original. Staff is very friendly and didn't mind our poor French. It must be a family run restaurant because the service is so good and the atmosphere so warm yet it's stylish without being... More

Remember to make a reservation as the restaurant is always full. Great food and location. Reasonable price.

Don't be put off by the rather banal exterior; within is cosy elegance and pleasant greetings and followed by one course after another of carefully prepared and well presented market fresh food . My third visit in 18 months found a somewhat unchanging but nonetheless tempting menu and reliable wine list. At Euros 180 including wine for three people but... More

I booked for a surprise dinner for my wife's birthday. What a sensational experience. Firstly we got there and the greeting in French soon turned to English after we explained in our broken French that we were Australian. Then the owner came over with a surprise bunch of flowers for my wife as I had mentioned we were celebrating. The... More

We had dinner at Chez Gabrielle last week and of all the places we dined in Paris, this was the best. We shared appetizers which were scrumptious; my husband had scallops in a cream sauce and I had fish for our plats....they were two of the best meals I've ever had. We shared a dessert called Triple Chocolate that was... More

We had a wonderful dinner here a year ago, so when we went to Paris again we looked forward to a new visit. We made a reservation, but when we came to the restaurant a woman said that a mistake was done. The reservation was notified on a another day. She blamed it on the young man in the staff... More

Visited this Restaraunt just before new year. While quite small it provided very good quality fare. It's not cheap , where is in Paris ? However very good quality food and service. We had the house specialities, foie gras and scallops for main course. Very French and very good quality.

I went to Chez Gabrielle with my sister this evening and was wowed by both the food and the ambiance. Many people travel to Paris and yearn for the truly Parisian experiences of eating in small restaurants and cafes where people sit for hours enjoying the conversation and the food/drink. Chez is just that place that you can almost only... More
