This is our fifth visit to Paris and L'Epoque is still one of our go-to restaurants on every trip and often trumps other restaurant recommendations we get from our Parisian friends. We have had the foie gras, lamb, duck and tiramisu on our most recent...More

Looking for a good place near Rue Moufetard brought us at l'Epoque. Small and tiny place, but so French. We had the nice place on the window and were impressed by the simple and cosy atmosphere. We took a bottle of Pomerol (top!) and the...More

This neighborhood restaurant is not quite what it used to be. Prices up, quality down, and now quite overrun with tourists as this is a very popular neighborhood. Still you can get a good meal here with the very traditional French food. Quiet.

Had the faux filet with home made fries and a wonderful pepper sauce. Excellent. My friend had a duck salad which she enjoyed too. We went early as it gets busy and noisy later. Has a bar too if you just want drinks

Very enjoyable two courses at a very reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and both starters of risotto St Jacques and black pudding with apple and a crumble were delicious as were the mains we had of slow roasted lamb and a steak. Would...More

Loved that this was not a tourist restaurant. This is where locals eat. The food was amazing! The burgers are unbelievable (and probably one of the best I've had in my life)! The tartare was top notch as well as the Escargot (the biggest I've...More

Damn, this was good! the "oeuf mollet" with sauce roquefort was amazing and the "tartare" great. The owners are really nice young couple, this restaurant is one of my fav' in Paris. And for once, it is not expensive for such a great quality

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The
small streets are filled with classical buildings,
student bars and lively eateries while the squares are
dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined
by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During
