We didn´t think we would fine ice cream as good as the one we ate in Italy, but we were proven wrong. The ice cream here is just fantastic. It would be a pity if you visited Paris and didn´t try it. It is a must.

The iceceam is yummy. There are always a lot of customers but they queue patiently because they know the wait is worthwhile. In Mouffetard ,a tourist trap for the last 30 years, this place is one of a kind, the flavours are both classic and original, the price reasonable and they make you welcome. A pity ,there's no seating space!

After a long day visiting the attractions in Paris we stopped by this gelato shop on rue Mouffetard next to our hotel. We were not disappointed, I ordered a cone with two parfums, which was shaped to look like a flower. A nice delicious treat to cool you off at night.

We came here twice during our stay in Paris. Both times we had 2 scoops of gelato served in a flower shape in a waffle cone (3.50 euro each). I had citron, cheesecake, snickers and caramel and they were all great. I particularly liked the citron flavour. Our server was able to understand some English and let us try a... More

I ate a Violette (wild blueberries) and Coquelicot ice-cream and it was just wonderful. Great fresh products and nice presentation. Friendly staff.

Great selection of flavours. Good service. Fresh, colourful, bursting with flavour. We ducked in here by chance because it started raining. We thought one large cup would be enough to share as a post dinner dessert but once we got our first taste on our way out the door we realized it was too good to share. Definitely worth the... More

Excellent top notch Gelati from native Italian owner Alberto that is often found scooping Gelati. Stracciatella flavor is my favorite.

We saw this before our meals so saved dessert for here given its reputation and we not disappointed. I had the fruits flavours fashioned into a rose shape in a cone. The flavours were all complimentary and tantalised the taste buds like they were having a party in my mouth! Sensational and views shared by my companions. Would highly recommend.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
