Excellent top notch Gelati from native Italian owner Alberto that is often found scooping Gelati. Stracciatella flavor is my favorite.

Delicious raspberry cheesecake gelato, tasted so fresh and creamy. They put the gelato on the cone like a flower. Pretty and tasted yummy!!

We saw this before our meals so saved dessert for here given its reputation and we not disappointed. I had the fruits flavours fashioned into a rose shape in a cone. The flavours were all complimentary and tantalised the taste buds like they were having a party in my mouth! Sensational and views shared by my companions. Would highly recommend.

Gelato was delicious. Ask to sample a flavor or two before you buy it. I particularly liked the guy serving the gelato too! Ha ha ha

Maybe it's me, maybe I was not lucky the day I was there, maybe I chose the wrong flavour, maybe a lot of things... but the fact is that the ice cream I had here was so-so, as well as the one my wife had. I'm not saying that it was not good, but come on, almost every ice cream... More

Alberto's is the best gelato or ice cream in Paris. Been coming here for years. Great to walk the local neighborhood with a flower shaped gelato. Stracciatella is my favorite!

Was tempted by this place as I saw there were more people in line than any other in the area. Heavenly! I highly recommend the combination of pistachio and rose.

This bio ice cream is just delicious. The flavours are so different and extraordinary. Try the Alibaba with rose combination- or even the lemon tart with mojito it is just exquisite. The ice creams are made into the shape of a rose. I went back every night. 10 x better than the well known brands. Total recommendation - home made... More

We've tried ice cream all over Paris and there are some great places. This is my favorite. It's in the Latin Quarter so your surrounded by great little shops- the line moves very quickly. Definitely try the L'envie en Rose special creation.

The rose shape is a fun thing but the taste is better. Combine cherry and chocolate and you ahve a winner.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
