Located in Le Marais Le Dôme du Marais is a former auction house turned into a romantic restaurant with a winter garden and a main dining space under a huge dome. It's probably more of a cosy place for winter times, but we'll try it out also in spring and summer. The service is friendly and good. It's a place... More

It was may be the wrong day but the overall experience was very poor - looks like something has changed there - not the same team. Food was average at best and the carpet wasn't even clean as well the tables. I probably never go back there.

Great location, nice décor and decent food with friendly and prompt service. We were amused when my companion chose a pizza for a starter (listed as a starter) and a main course and was promptly instructed that it was too much and we should share a pizza started. We did and it was a good advice and we should be... More

Had a good dinner here. Just bumped into the restaurant as we were trying to get out of the rain. Very impressive as you are lead to the main seating area. The room is somewhat dimly lit with a large vaulted dome ceiling. Actually quite a nice dome. Textured and large. The place was like a church at some point.... More

We visited for brunch on a Sunday having booked months ago and we found the experience all a bit underwhelming .The decor was tired and shabby with un vacuumed carpets from the night before - ring marks on tables and a table with a view into a store room hidden behind a half pulled across curtain.Food was not bad but... The main restaurant and interior garden room are both attractive and it is a shame that the food is not consistently good. Two of my courses - Iberian pork and the pastry in the pineapple millefeuille were over cooked and the pork was really not nice. My partner enjoyed his foie gras and fillet of beef but his frites were... More

We ate at the restaurant 2 weeks ago, having dined there many times before and always had a great time and wonderful food. The food this time was very mediocre, my friends fish dish was tasteless and my potatoes were almost raw. I complained about the potatoes but was informed by another member of staff that they were cooked 'the... More

My wife and I have passed by this restaurant several times without stopping in...that was really dumb. The restaurant borders on elegant but is still inviting and informal. The food is excellent, the service is very good but not hovering. The prices are quite reasonable for the setting and the quality of the food. A place not to be missed.... More

The restaurant is located centrally in the heart of le Marsis. Service attitude is very formalist and details do not matter. Food is served nicely but really no grande cuisine... overall rather pricy. The restaurant becomes a loud bar later in the evening!

The venue very beautiful and unique but somehow it looks like it ended up in the hands of bad management. The service is very amateur, worse than a casual cafe. The food is simply below average. Flavors are lackluster and don't be surprised if your potatoes come out crunchy and undercooked. Plating was pretty yet presentation is very poor. All... More

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
