We had reserved table in advance. We arrived at 7 p.m. We were disappointed that we were offered a table in the indoor garden area. It was beautiful but there was no air conditioning in that room and it was a hot August evening. The formal dining room, with air conditioning, was virtually empty with only one couple. The August... We were there for a Sunday brunch, for which the menu was a little eclectic - more like a lunch menu - and a touch on the expensive side. There was just enough choice for our group, but we feel that it might have more attractive by having a more traditional brunch selection. Having said that, the food was well... More

What a gorgeous gem in the middle of the Marais! What was once a pawn shop during Louis XVI's reign, this restaurant with it's soaring dome is stylish, posh and a great value. You can sit in the intimate Winter Garden with it's avian theme, or lounge in the black and tan main room beneath the Dome ( my choice).... More

One of the highlights of the trip. Went on a Sunday. The brunch was good, but order from the Menu. The Truffle pizza was incredible and also the tuna salad with coconut milk.

Very impressive setting! My starter was beautiful and delicious as was my main course! Unfortunately I made the mistake of ordering cheese for dessert. Was almost frozen and covered in oil. When that was pointed out to the staff not an apology was offered and despite the fact I did not eat it was added to the bill. Shame. It... More

Came here for brunch and the charming inner courtyard is really nice. Birds chirping, lots of plants, a nice, casual but charming and professional place. Ordered the brunch menu and it was very filling - great pastries, juices, eggs. Very well done - I would come back here for sure

under the dome, you will find a large round room with tables et chairs. very black and dark lights.... the staff is friendfull and helpful and quite professional. the menu is the big deception; it s very limited n the choice you will not find traditional dishes but new cuisines style pork, red mullet, black cod. I did not know... More

The atmosphere immediately transports you to a different era. The restaurant is beautiful and historic. We had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. Our granddaughter suggested Le Dome and it lived up to the raves! Service was wonderful and the food was marvelous. We were not "rushed" at all and were able to enjoy our 3 courses... More

Our return trip to the Dome didn't live up to our fond memories of our prior visit, alas. We went to Dome de Marais many years ago on our first trip to Paris and it was the memorable standout experience of our trip -- outstanding fare in an enchanting and romantic setting on our last night. On the last evening... More

We stopped here for tea and a cake on a weekend afternoon. Service in a covered courtyard was friendly and quick. The dinner menu looks interesting, so might go back sometime...

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
