You feel welcome in this Bistro. Red lights and nice tables and fauteuils you relax in. The starters were great like the snails we had and the salmon not the speak the very nicely dressed Caprese salad. Portions are bigger then you think. The salads and the chickend sandwich we had was great. The waitresses are very efficient fast and... More

Happened upon this spot when after a light dinner. This place fit the bill. Limited menu but food and plentiful. My husband had the cheeseburger and it was huge. My pasta topped with chicken was good but could have been hotter. Very subtle flavour and delicious. I would recommend for a casual dining experience.

Had an evening meal here. Really good food but only four / five choices in each section. Service though was slow. When served with our main course we were not asked about drinks and I spent ten mins trying to get the waitress's attention and there were not many tables full at that time.

On the charming Espinosa Way, this small café gets pretty close to the typical neighborhood coffee shop you'd find in Montmartre or the like. French owner is very friendly and he still hasn't started charging SOBE prices. We will return.

Getting together with adult family members meant we needed something seriously hood for brunch before they headed off on their further adventures so we visited the somewhat garishly decorated Folie's cafe. Salads and omelette did the trick - just great.

We were in a bit of a rush to find a spot for dinner because my daughter had a date with friends at 8 pm. We ducked into the Folie's Cafe about 6:45 pm this past Wednesday. It's really more along the lines of a bistro or brasserie than a cafe. It was packed with the pre-show crowd for Zazie,... More

we went for lunch with family and a friend on Bastille Day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe is very pleasant but was very hot inside with only limited outside tables. There seemed to be an A/C but it was not operating. Except for the crepes suzette which was excellent, we all agree that the food was... More

Cheeseburger is amazing the meat is unique. The pasta with prawns is delight. The interior is well preserved. The staff is helpful. The wc is fair hygiene. The price is fair for the place. Recommend

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
