Great bar Located right in the middle of one of Paris’ most fascinating streets. Cut priced and sport on during the daylight hours and piano music in the night. An excellent bar to visit for anyone who appreciates the Latin Quarter.

If you want a legit Latin Quarter music and booze experience. Might even try talking to the locals. They seem congenial.

I stayed a few doors down from the Piano Bar during my stay in Paris so I stumbled upon this venue quickly and made it a temporary 'local' for me over my stay. I found this to be an ideal, welcoming and comfortable place to stop and enjoy after a busy day. The relaxing atmosphere and entertaining live music sets... More

At the piano bar on a quiet Sunday night, I was shown a choice of two seats. The bar was about half full with plenty of empty seats. One seat was at the drafty entrance. The other was behind the musicians. Not a way to listen to music. Non merci.

A piano bar, with grand piano, but we had a great blues guitarist singing for us. Great drinks prices during happy hour. Right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Loved it

From the outside it looks like a tourist trap. It's on the main street of the Latin Quarter and it just looks touristy. But SURPRISE!!! it's a real French piano bar. Those guys at the front are real French tough guys. Most of the people inside are French too. The local business people and students abound. The place is dark... More

A well situated place in the centre of Paris. The music is good partner for a date. The dishes are a bit expensive but good.

We stopped here twice during the second week of April, 2015. It's an island of tranquility in the middle of the chaos of the Latin Quarter. The gentleman playing the piano was great and the singer that performed during our second visit was equally talented. Their selections varied from jazz classics to modern tunes. The contrast between the scene in... More

Great atmosphere. Lively and buzzing (it was happy hour after all). Drinks pricey if not purchased during happy hour. Pianist very good and he sang too. Staff very friendly and spoke English. Drinks service at table. We sat at tables looking out onto the street and were photographed by many Japanese tourists that were walking by in groups.

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
