Stayed as a family in the Crown Plaza on the Place de la Republique - not wanting to venture too far on our first night and with serious doubts about the streets behind the hotel, we took a chance on this welcoming looking eaterie right by the hotel. Menu was sufficiently broad to accommodate adults and children's tastes. We actually... More

We went there for a small cake-break during our shopping trip through Les Halles shoppingmall. The applecake I've had was amazing good, and also the coffee and the service. We definitly would come back again.

The onion soup was good mix of the bread, cheese and onion. Not overwhelming. Escargot not that fantastic but still fine. The sausage and meat platter with sauerkraut sealed the deal. The best part, the staff even offered to reheat our meal. Very attentive staff indeed.

Visited the Republique square to pay our respects to those caught up in the Paris attacks. Suddenly it started really raining and we needed lunch so we went straight into this restaurant. There was a pleasant greeting and we were shown to a lovely little table by the window. We both had Croque Madame with French fries and salad. The... More

Brilliant sea food menu cooked fresh and to perfection. Very welcoming genuine service. Can't see what people are saying about the service lacking. Excellent all round would recommend and potentially return if ever in Paris again.

We were 5 families and although the first approach of a female waiter was a bit negative to accommodate us the outstanding service of waiter 'Bari' turned a good dinner to excellent. Most of the dishes were delicious and excellent and some were average, but the willingness of Bari to satisfy all of our requests and our difficult children left... More

Staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to eat out, I found this place which was fairly quite at 9pm. Was shown to a tiny table and asked to sit at a larger table, which was refused as the table was for four.... The restaurant was less than a 1/3 full, and shortly after a couple came in and were... We opted to go out for breakfast (instead of at the hotel) since we were headed for the Louvre this day. This place was only three blocks from our hotel, and they had a placard outside that said they have breakfasts. We were the only customers this morning at 8AM. A previous day we had walked by and it was... More

Went there for dinner. The bad reputation of Paris service was met here! They refused to give me table close to window, immediately shouting no-no when I tried to sit down. I was on my own, but place was half empty?! Service guy didn't care about anyone not talking French, very rude attitude. His every move gave an impression of... More

Had lunch once and breakfast twice here during a short stay in Paris as it was near to hotel, had consistently good service and was reasonably priced given the location. Basic French food but good quality - omelette, bread, croissant, coffee, moules etc.
