We had lunch at Café Med crêperie while visiting Paris in early June, based on a recommendation from a Rick Steves travel guide, and we were not disappointed! It’s a small restaurant with a lot of charm. The hostess was delightful and it was a...More

If you choose the set menu you get an appetizer, plat (entree), and dessert. The vegetable soup and apple tart were fabulous.

We stopped in here on the spur of the moment and we greeted warmly and handed an English menu which we appreciated as our French is questionable at best. My husband ordered tuna for starter, salmon for the entry and he loved it. I ordered...More

Cafe Med is a small but very charming restaurant. We stopped by chance one night we were waking around looking for a place to eat, and were pleasantly surprised. The food is nice and very reasonably priced, the place gives a local vibe (most customers...More

Located on the main street on the quieter of the two islands in the Seine, Ile de St Louis, this is a creperie/restaurant of some charm offering reasonably priced set menus. We had the gallette lunchtime menu which was good value and the place itself...More

This is a tiny, cozy, fun creperie and more on Ile-Ste-Louis. The three course fixed menus are great value and the hourse wine is too. It’s not the fanciest or highest quality food in the city, but it’s fresh, cheery and at an exceptional price....More

Went for dinner where expectations are higher. Went for the most expensive set menu which seems remarkably good value. Salad fine, steak the thinnest, smallest, driest scrap of meat ever. Confit de canard OK. Desserts fine but with a bit of a chocolate sauce out...More

Small, red-checked table cloths and tiny room might make some feel claustrophobic, but this iconic cafe near Notre Dame is a great choice. The menu is reasonably priced and the food delicious. There is no outdoor seating, so not the place to leisurely people watch....More

We had lunch there two years ago and liked the food very much, so I came back to eat there again. I ordered vegetable soup, some sort of black pancake and crepe. Out of the three things I could only eat the crepe, the other...More

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
