What a disappointment! We had booked a table for 10 (!), 7 adults, 3 kids. Seemed like the perfect place prior to our Eifel tower visit. We asked for menu options for kids: none, only angus beef (min. 1 kg) with potatoes. We agreed go...More

Sir, I wish I could use time in a more constructive manner than answering this comment. You probably felt better after you wrote such a slander review so as to take revenge... unfortunately your argument simply doesn't make sense. If you were just really willing...More

The restaurant has a very cosy sincere feeling to it. It is situated in a quiet lane with an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower from the outside tables. Very nice and welcoming service from the moment I walked in. Both waitress and chef speak...More

Gigi is the best host and Chef Alex never disappoints. Found this treasure of a restaurant on our first trip to Paris and have returned for every visit since.

Husband and wife, chef owned establishment offers a small, intimate dining experience. We found the owners to be friendly and very helpful. The menu is small just like the venue but everything is exceptionally prepared. The escargot, duck, white fish all superbly done. Highly recommended.

Found this place accidentally. Seated immediately without a reservation at lunchtime. Great attentive service and beautifully cooked food. Snails for entree. Fish for mains. Would go again gladly.

This restaurant is in a nice location on a quest street that has a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower (not from inside the restaurant but from the street, see photo). We were greeted and seated by the owner/manager(?). There is an enthusiasm and pride...More

After making our reservations a few weeks before travelling to Paris it was risky as I only had online reviews to go by. We always try to dine at authentic & more intimate locales when visiting foreign countries & this ticks all those boxes. We...More

After searching google for a French restaurant, there was surprisingly few that came up & our hotel was near the Eiffel Tower! Forming Le Barbier was the closest in proximity, so I reviewed TripAdvisor & noted it was highly regarded. I concur, I can not...More

Enjoyed escargot and salad for starter, duck and vegetable plate for main dish, and chocolate tart and candied pink almond dessert. Service was impeccable, presentation was beautiful, and food was light and tasty. Wonderful meal for our last night in Paris.

The Lady- owner, was extremely rude once we decided not to take a menu but only an apero, main course and dessert. It was a terrible experience and I am also surprised that people find the quality of the food so go. It was jut...More

There were 2 children at the restaurant when we visited - about 6 or 8 years old - and they looked very happy! I agree with the previous post that there probably aren't high chairs or booster seats. The menu is fairly... More

Firmin le Barbier is what I would describe as "upscale casual." A jacket and tie is not required. I wore a simple summer dress and my husband wore khakis and a collared shirt. That seemed to be the norm there. Enjoy - it's... More
