Breakfast formula is a recommendation. Food is really good and the staff is very friendly and professional. Toilets are clean.

Okay, my hopes were not high. A pretty-looking brasserie on a corner in Île de la Cité, I was expecting a tourist-trap in the middle of August, but this was just really glum. Over-worked waiter who absolutely would not meet our eyes, sticky tables, expensive...drinks, tables way too close together for any social distancing. A shame, because the location is truly great and with a bit of love it could be really special.More

We came here first in our December 2019 trip and tasted the French Onion Soup, and it was one of the reasons we decided to make Paris our destination for our trip this summer of 2020. It is THE best onion soup we've had and...we will probably visit one more time before leaving Paris. Don't go from Paris without tasting the soup! I give four stars now because the place lacked in keeping social distancing between tables and the staff wore their face masks in the wrong way (didn't cover their nose). Other than that, I truly like the vibe, the atmosphere and of course the soup.More

Went into this restaurant simply because my wife was hungry and it was there. Food was reasonable and to my surprise all the customers at nearby tables were French! Staff were friendly but some surprise that an Englishman ordered a very rare (bleu) steak.

We dropped in for a quick bite while exploring. The location is lovely but the staff were unhelpful. I love croque monsieur and was looking forward to it but, sadly, had quite possibly the worst one that I've ever eaten here. It was mushy and...undercooked. My friend had some food issues and it was difficult to get anything for her. She ended up with dry chicken and a wilted bit of green. Very disappointing for our first meal on the trip. I thought Paris had got past the less than average tourist ripoffs.More

Perfect spot to stop for a simple cup of coffee or a light French lunch. Do try the onion soup. Nice location, within walking distance of Notre-Dame but away from the crowds. Waiters are nice and very helpful. A very French bistro, a very French...experience.More

These days, as tourism is booming, Paris is full of decent brasseries . This one is no exception. Service is quick and swift. Food is good . Also, tables are a bit small and tightly arranged. As everywhere in Paris, it is not the cheap.

A bustling Brasserie on the Isle St. Louis. Ambiance is typical of a large Parisian Brasseri, busy and at times loud. The food and wine menus are extensive. Service is prompt and cordial. Food is well prepared and presented. Good value in a pleasant setting.

Visited (four of us) for the second time in a couple of years.Having walked past out of interest the re-building of Notre Dam.The usual efficient and professional service from our waiter along with the kitchen delivering typical French mains and desserts as good as anywhere...you will eat in the many Parisian Brasserie on offer across Paris. Decor and ambience make for a thoroughly enjoyable lunchtime stop.More

Had lunch here with friends who had been before. Really good waiter with a good sense of humour and good food. 2 of us had the beef bourginon, 1 a Croque Monsieur and I had the Entrecôte, we shared the daily special pudding which was...a blueberry cake. Traditional menu and well executedMore

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

I think you'll be fine. It's very tourist centric, and massive inside. Prepare to be underwhelmed.
