We made reservations for a Friday night and enjoyed our experience. My husband had the duck and I had the night special, Beef Wellington. We also had veal tartare and creme brulee. All dishes were absolutely satisfying. Our service was great. All this with a bottle of wine was around 100 euros. We would definitely go back.

We found this restaurant for lunch by chance after visiting the Canal Saint Martin. The food was incredible. The variety was great. The service very personal and attentive. We had a chicken dish; a duck dish and veal liver. It was as good as any restaurant we have been to.

We have visited Chez Marie Louise for the last 3-4 years dining at least once sometimes twice a year. Christophe has now sold the business and the decor has been updated. The chef is the same and so the food has not changed and is still delicious however it has definitely lost it's charm. The bar has changed, the old... More

Good food. good service with English menu and English speaking staff. On a Saturday lunch the place was packed, so go early or book a table.

I go to Paris ever so often from Belgium. I did research on many French language websites as well as here before deciding to go to this restaurant. The interior may be considered spartan by some but the detail of everything blends nicely into the entire scheme, including the restroom. Reservation was easy. We were welcomed by the owner herself.... More

Really good food, made to order on the premises and served by very friendly and attentive staff. The duck a l'orange and the tuna steak were incredible. For people who like desserts, it's heaven! Definitely worth adding to any Paris itinerary.

We just had a brilliant meal here. We were made most welcome by the host and the food that followed was superb. A couple, we had the duck a l'orange and the tuna steak, both delicious. And the millefoille and creme brule to follow were equally as good. Drinks were a little pricey, but food not, so overall could not... More

This small Frenche restaurant, not far from the St. Martin canal is a wonderful place to have a very good French meal, prepared professionaly, served with a smile by English speaker, prices are honest for this standard of food preparation, If you had never had a too big portion of Fois Gras, this is certainly where it will happen to... While traveling in Paris with a friend, we decided to spend a day exploring the neighborhood our apartment was in. We ended up here for dinner and were so happy we did. Everything we ate was delicious the service was fantastic and you can't beat a restaurant where there's only one front-of-house employee who covers all jobs expertly. I had... More
