Stopped here for lunch while out site seeing. The family that runs this place are friendly and the food is good with reasonable prices. I would not go out of my way but if your in the vicinity and looking for a place to eat then try it. One negative is that it lacks atmosphere.

I spend an afternoon in the restaurant with an elaborate lunch including a cheese selection and a quiche accompanied with a nice bottle of rosé. The restaurants is possible one of the cheapest and beat around the louvre with view of the Seine

Popped in here for lunch - some fries, a couple of crepes and an onion soup. All very nice. The staff were friendly and only too willing to assist.

I got here through trip advisor. I hesitated to enter at first seeing that the place was totally empty. The first, and quite frankly repelling, thing I noticed was the odour of toilets. It was very strange seeing that the place was quite nice and apparently clean. Anyway, the food was great, the service is very lovely and the prices... More

Big meals with decent price, and nice place overall, the food served fast, in front of the notre Dom. Sandwiches costs only 4-6 euros and are great

We were walking down the street and my husband wanted ice cream. It was some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten; I think it was made with real cream...absolutely delicious. I can't speak to anything else but we plan to go back for lunch before we leave. The owners were friendly and it was a nice stop... More

We stopped here one evening for dinner. The restaurant is across from the Seine. The man and women running the restaurant were very friendly. They spoke some English and between my phrase book and what they knew we were able to order successfully. The food was good. I had a salad and savory crepe. My friend had the red mullet... More

Went with my daughter for lunch after visiting Le Louvre. Even if the terrace is not that nice, you should give this restaurant a try. Friendly atmosphere, nice homemade food and reasonable price. It is not so common anymore to find such combination in Paris.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
