After being told we couldn't have a table in the then-empty restaurant Takara (down the block), we decided to stop here for dinner. Best decision we made all week. The pizza was excellent, and the service was top notch. Moreover, the price was more than reasonable (which is often a tough find in Paris).

Our hotel was right next door so out of convenience we went here for dinner. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and food came out quickly. We went back the very next night ordering different entrees and they were just as good as the first time. Highly recommend

The saddest mixed antipasta I have ever had. What should have been a selection of Italian cold meat turned out to be a selection of the cheapest sausages and ham found in the supermarket along with 2 pickled mini gherkins and some dry lettuce that had been prepared much earlier in the day. Free WIFI and the French baguette saves... More

We really liked this place because it served Italian food, was family owned & run, & was unpretentious compared to other places in Paris. The pizzas were great, & the pastas tasted home made & flavourful. The chocolate mousse was also very good. We liked it so much we ate here twice during our short stay, & we would definitely... The difficult thing in Paris is that there are so many restaurants and cafes to try! I only wish that we had come upon this little gem of a restaurant earlier in our trip, as I think we would have chosen to eat here every night! The menu was extensive, the drinks reasonably priced (unusual in Paris!) and the service... More

Returned to this great local pizzeria tucked in a side st but very central. Quality and service from Geoff were as good as previous years and reaffirmed why we return annually! Great veggie food and good value. Also a roaring trade in take aways if you fancy a pizza by the seine.....

It is unfortunate we only found this restaurant on our last night in Paris. Everything was perfect. From the friendly but not overbearing owner to its quaint and cosy ambience. The meals are very well priced considering the location. Try the mousse.. To die for.

I love Italian food and I'm glad La Fontaine was nearby. We ate there quite a bit and enjoyed every dish and pizza. Friendly people--the owners were great. The Glaces for desert are excellent.

Lovely Italian restaurant, great host and very reasonable for such a central location. Exciting to see several pizza and pasta options not involving meat or fish on the menu, and the rare treat of a pizza even called' vegitarienne'! I Visited a few times last year, and I'm glad to see its still just as good. I Will be back... More
