Nothing better after a long day at the louvre than a sweet, warm little cafe/restaurant with friendly service, wonderful food and gluten free options. We both had the pesto and sundried tomato penne and it was delicious
Nice and relaxing place. Food portions are a good size. Pizza was great. Pasta was good. Welcoming and friendly service.
Nice traditional cafe/restaurant with good location close to les Halles. We just had a drink which was totally ok. Nice service.
My wife and I were delighted to find this restaurant on a rainy day after an exhausting morning and early afternoon at the Louvre. They have vegan options, the service was friendly and prompt, and it was comfortable. It isn't a top tier restaurant, but...a bistro with pleasant, worn but clean decor, and they seem to enjoy the guests as much as the guests enjoy them. They were even nice about my horrible French.More
This charming cafe was a great find near the louvre. The atmosphere was pleasant. The wait staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Everyone was happy. Our family ordered the salmon, fish and chiips and a chicken dish that had a mushroom cream sauce.
Landed here for some much needed food after a few budget blowing cocktails at the Ritz. Great choice. Crazy expensive Hotel Costes is across the street. This place was normal in such a high end hood. Regular cafe selections were well prepared, served and tasty....Loved the tartare de boeuf and poulet roti. Felt far removed from fashionistas. Supposedly very busy at lunch with vendueses and neighbouring office workers without expense accounts. Good food, good value.More
We ate at this cafe 3 evenings and one lunch time whilst in Paris for 4 nights. We were well catered for by the staff who were very caring and helpful, we were served quickly and efficiently and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thought I'd...try escargot (snails), didn't think I'd muster up the courage! They were really nice. The beer was competitively priced at 6 euros and the chardonnay was the best I had ever drank, I should have asked what it was.. well worth a visit.More
Group of 4, opted to sit outside. Waiter was welcoming initially but all changed when our food came out. 2 of 4 meals were chicken mushroom tagliatelle but chicken was overcooked, dry, chewy & inedible. Our waiter was busy and didn’t come over to check...on us. When he finally came over and we told him about our food he shrugged his shoulders & walked away. We called him back and he became irate, refused to call the manager and told us to seek the manager out ourselves instead. No offer for alternative meals and no apology. They reluctantly took both meals off the bill in the end after only offering to take one off, but it was a terrible experience.More
Two of us had dinner at this quiet spot very near the Lourve. The appetizers were good, escargo, and apastry, the entres were delicious, chicken with a wonderful white sauce with vegetables and a pizza. The creme brulee was perfect. The resturant manager was very...nice. He spoke english and gave us some good tips for Paris. He also supplied us with a lot of water. It was a great way to end the day after a lot of time on our feet.More
