Very bright and cheerful place.

Stepped in from the rain for their happy hour (5.00 - 9.00) while waiting for a table at Le Petit Chatelet next door. Very impressed all round. Cocktails were lovely, and tapas too.

If you are looking for the drink and Notre Dame view - go for it. But if you want to have a good meal (with real French onion soup) and feel of Paris's atmosphere - go somewhere else. There is no kitchen there; the food is tasteless, warmed up . Instead of fried and crunchy fish fingers we had some... More

Very friendly, good food at reasonable prices, very enjoyable. Had a problem as we did not speak French but all the staff were helpful, the manager has a great sense of humor.

Food was fine. Nothing creative but quite enjoyable. The maître d' was incredibly nice and pleasant, the waiter was a caricature of "French service."

Great location, near Seine near Notre Dame church. The food was very tasty, we have tried vegetarian lasagne and some salads. It is a good place for a drink or even for a quick lunch, not very noisy and with good service. Prices totally reflect the quality of the food and services.

We had a glass of wine, glazing over to notre dame. The place is perfect for a quick drink, but a bit noisy.

We had a fairly good experiece here but then our waiter informed us his shift was ending and presnted us with our bill. It clearly stated service compris yet he asked us if we wanted to put a tip on it. I double-checked the bill and pointed out that it said service compris and he sputtered something and said he'd... It was a lovely little brasserie, food pretty good, hot chocolate delicious. Hot apple juice cocktail far too sweet! Internet access / WiFi much appreciated. £5 for a 50cl bottle of Evian, quite expensive we thought but in sight of Notre Dame. If you want to avoid cigarette smoke it is just about possible inside.

We ended up stumbling into this restaurant randomly on Christmas Eve after attending a mass at Notre Dame De Paris. At first we were skeptical as it looks very touristy, but the price was right for 69 Euros for 2 people, including drinks. The meal turned out quite good! We had Guinea Fowl as the main and the mushrooms &... More

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
