We made a reservation at the suggestion of our hotel, for a birthday dinner. The service was very casual with the music playing some kind of pop radio station with annoying commercials. I ordered champagne for before the dinner and a glass of red wine to accompany my main course--duck. The waiter brought the "champagne" and a red wine and... More

The bistro/brasserie is just on the opposite side of the subway station École Militaire. Without a reservation, we managed to get a table at about 8:00pm on a weekday. There were quite a number of regular patrons, tourists though, who would be received warmly and treated differently. We did receive somewhat friendly and efficient service though we apparently would not... More

My wife and I had high hopes for this small restaurant, only to be greatly disappointed. First, when we arrived there were two available tables for two. We had no reservation, but were told "two minutes" wait every few minutes by the waiter. After about 10 minutes of waiting, another person showed up without a reservation. At that point the... More

We are expats living in Paris. We live right down the street from this restaurant. It is really tiny but I think this adds to the ambiance and really makes me feel the "Paris experience". The food is amazing; always delicious. The service is also great. They have the menu written on a chalk board (one in French, one in... More

My wife & I had dinner here twice & we will go back when we visit Paris again. As is the case in many Parisian restaurants, the tables are parked close together; we struck up pleasant conversations with our adjoining patrons. I highly recommend this place due to its warm ambience & friendly service, as well as reasonably priced food... More

First of all, if you are planning to visit, we recommend reservations. During the week, you might be able to squeeze in early, but on the weekend, we saw several parties turned away as the restaurant was very full of both tourists (like us) and apparent "regulars". Our hotel recommended this as did others we spoke with. The clientele seemed... More

As stated in previous reviews this is a small, intimate space. We got lucky and got a walk in table. Most others were reserved. Short staffed that night, but the waiter was extremely friendly and professional even as he was flying from bar to tables to kitchen. Our table "neighbor" was an older local woman who was dining solo and... More
