Excellent sheng jian bao …crispy bottom with lots of meSt filling and juice that you slurp up with a mini straw…4 for 6 euros and they also have vegetarian ones. No tables inside with about 6 tables outside so do takeout. We had their jia jiang noodles and it came with a broth which is unusual. Not you traditional jia jiang main but okay for 11.9 euros When we return we want just the sheng jian bao. Absolutely awesome buns

I actually ordered dumplings and sheng jian bao's from here when I decided to stay in my hotel room one day, and the delivery was smooth. The food was super fresh and warm when it arrived and boy was it authentic! I think the portion vs price is very fair and the taste was definitely on point. It's hard to come across restaurants that actually do Sichuan cuisine right like this. This actually tasted like home because my mom is from Sichuan and I've been there a lot of times. The dumplings kind of tasted like how my mom would make them too, it's amazing. As for the sheng jian bao's, I've never had them before even if I've been to Shanghai but what I can say is that they were also really good! They also do a fair amount of filling in the bao's unlike a lot of other places that are kind of stingy with the meat filling, so that's another good thing. The bao wrappers are thick enough to have a solid bite but not too thick, it was just right. Do watch out though when you bite into one, cuz the juice could sort of spill if you're not careful (yes it happened to me). Overall, I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic experience!

Great noodles and dumplings specialty restaurant. Nothing much to say about food, place in small and has this opened kitchen atmosphere and a view on Notre Dame.

Had a problem with the cooking oil or one of the ingredients (not chilli, though, as I am used to hot food). Spend the night awake.

The restaurant serves great noodles with topping of your choice. Also famous for its buns filled with pork. Recommended.

Fantastic, authentic Chinese food with friendly service, least French but certainly one of the best meals I've ever had in Paris! Restaurant is small but is packed with local office crowd and tourists.

Hungry while touristing? Stop in to this unassuming little dumpling spot for some good, inexpensive, fast, satisfying food. Sure the service is kind of chaotic, but its about the dumplings. Little straws provided to suck out the soup, but go slowly because its HOT (temperature). Then add a little soy/vinegar and if you can manage the chopsticks, enjoy those yummy things. Then keep on touristing! Hunger emergency over.

Buns, noodle and ravioli where good and served very fast. Prices where on but the portions where at the small size. Taste is good and nice spices, we like it hit. Restaurant is nice and cute, but they have a ventilation problem. The girls who served us was so unfriendly and inpatient that half way I almost left. We where on a romantic trip so I didn't but never had this service before. Why you work in a public place if you handle your customers like this. My girlfriend has to vomit later on the night and we didn't eat or drink anything else that night , and we had a home made sandwich lunch so I guess the hygiene is not 100% too

The pan fried buns are so delicious. It’s extra special when there’s broth in there. My husband and I had two serves of pork buns, mixed sauce noodle soup and beef noodle soup. The noodles were alright but if I visit again, I would just order buns because they were so amazing! Great prices too. Our total meal was 30 euros. Thumbs up!

Nice environment, good/quick service. It was a little hot inside. We were 5 and there's not enough space outside, the beer tasted better that way :). Ramen soup and buns were fantastic. Watch out! The spicy levels on the soups are very intense, the #3 was close to impossible to eat (the waiter told us, but we did not listen), we asked for a zero to mix it with and even then it was extremely hot.

Go for an order of steamed/pan-fried buns and a bowl of noodles with ground pork or beef. We got the minced pork with peas and went with level 1 spice. This still had some heat that hit us in the back of the throat (in a good way). If you enjoy spicier fare, you can go up to the "three-chilis" level. I imagine the noodles in broth would be especially fantastic in winter. We swung by there on a Friday night in August and the place was filled rapidly with Parisians.Friendly, efficient service and casual atmosphere. In terms of rating, it's inexpensive street food, not nouvelle cuisine, so that might be a 4, but for what it is, it was perfectly fine, so we gave it a 5.

If you like it when the waitress doesn't say hello to you and pulls your face If you like ravioli with a very thick dough, not soft and filled with a stuffing without much taste This restaurant is made for you

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
