This is a lovely restaurant. But we were shocked to see THREE MICE scampering about. Admittedly, the doors and floor-to-ceiling windows were all open, and so it would be impossible to keep them out... however, this is the only restaurant I have ever experienced this in, even among other restaurants equally open to the elements. We had already ordered when... More

We walked by Paul multiple times while in the neighborhood and I finally went in - decided to get pastries to go. We had delicious raspberry, strawberry, and apple tartlettes - easy to eat by hand as the walked the area - stuffed with fruit. The place was very busy. If you are in the area, stop in for coffee... Most Paul share the same concept. Not a place for a fancy planned dinner, but if you are running around as a tourist and want to make sure you get good food and large selection of pastries Paul is perfect . It's similar to patisserie de Financier in New York. This one is located in San German 5 min walk... More

We had omelette, salad and bread. Met some expats that were interesting and the service was good. Good basic place to eat.

Paul is located just down the street from the Hotel de Seine where the Mr and I stayed during our recent stay in Paris. It turned out to be a great place to pick up a quick sandwich, pastry, or soda. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

We had a lovely lunch, three kids and three adults, and there was something for everyone. Meals were served with a delicious salad. Prices were easonable abd service was good. We also samples some pastries - and they were amazing! Charming space as well.

Paul has an amazing selection of pastries, They make all their own breads, croissants and pastries. I had been out shopping and was tired. This was the perfect place to stop for a cafe latte, chocolate croissant and people watching.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
