I know it is hard to have a very bad meal in Paris but it is often equally difficult to eat really well without paying top prices but, I am pleased to report, Les Enfants Perdue breaks the mould with very good French food at good value (NOT cheap) prices. We all were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of... More

I've had one of my best meals in Paris here (and I visit Paris often). This is an adorable resto in the Canal St Martin district, quaint decor, lovely outdoor sitting area in the back. It is frequented by bobos (French hipsters) in their 20s and 30s. Excellent food, great wine, great desserts (this is the pain perdu).

Went to Les Enfants Perdus one Sunday on a whim while walking along the canal St-Martin, and was very pleasantly surprised! They managed to squeeze us in (though I highly recommend booking), and the service and food were both impeccable. At 22 € for a delicious brunch of several courses, plus coffee and juice, this is surprisingly reasonable by Parisian... More

I had landed at this restaurant in 2011 during a visit to Paris and was impressed by the veal I'd eaten there. So I travelled again this month (July 2016) and found that the veal was still great but the service outrageous. The young waiter who showed me to a table at the back in an empty restaurant (all others... More

I went twice at about 10:15 pm. The full evening menu was available. The first time, my main dish was veal, the second time filet mignon. Unfortunately, the filet was over-done, although I had specified "rosa, not too dry and not too wet". The entrées (side dishes) and desserts were excellent. The next time I go, I will try the... Great food, great dessert, friendly staffs. The cocktail is just ok, but overall experience is nice. The Sea brass is exceptionally good

Dinner visit with family, including two younger girls. Menu french and exciting, and a lot to choose between. Lovely meat, combined with bone marrow, who was a new experience for me. No children menu, but staff put together great alternatives for the young ones. Sadly we were not able to stay for the dessert this time, but next time I... More

We actually did not get to eat here so cannot comment on the food. We arrived at 8pm for our dinner reservation. The head waiter explained that half of the items on the, relatively short, menu were not available because there had been no delivery of fish that day. Ok, these things happen but does not excuse the restaurant happily... More

Although the food was really very wonderful, the nuanced incompetence of the waiters made the experience truly unique. Don't get me wrong, it was no fault of his own, but rather the impossibly tight leggings of our waiter which cut off circulation to his head such that he was left with no choice but to succeed in a profoundly lackadaisical...
