Totally THE place to be in one of the coolest areas of Paris, le Marais ! Great atmosphere, smilling staff, super well located and what a stylish decor ! Plus, the “Chez Ajia” menu is so yummy and tasty... only made with the best ingredients. The team manages to make each guest feel incredibly good and the owner is such a cool, generous, patient and knowledgeable man ! I definitely recommend.

We went for our last night in Paris and the restaurant recognised we were Scottish through our booking going the extra mile to take us through the menu and provide us with the information needed to make our decisions. We had 4 dishes between us and the food was absolutely amazing! We also had desert and were treated to a little extra which was very much appreciated. Couldn't recommend this place more, great staff and great food!

Love this spot in the Marais for something I haven't seen elsewhere : Taiwanese/French fusion. I need to eat gluten free and they are always accommodating, with some of their mainstay dishes being available to me safely (the mushroom appetizer should not be missed). The flavors are unusual throughout the menu and the service excellent - all for a moderate price. Glad they are in the neighborhood!

Chez Ajia is a delightful restaurant! The food was really delicious: we had the marinated eggplant, lo bih (tofu, pork, beef, egg), and lo bah bang (pork, egg, pickled cucumbers served with rice). Everything was reasonably priced. The staff was welcoming and the waiter was really nice - he gave a thorough explanation of all the dishes on the menu. At the end, we got a lovely handwritten note on the receipt, saying that they hoped we had enjoyed their specialties (which we had)! Merci beaucoup pour un excellent repas et un agréable moment !

An unexpectedly wonderful meal. Dishes are Asian in concept with a bit of French spin that results in novel flavors and textures. The crispy chicken is one of the great fried chicken realizations of the cosmos, not to be missed. The pork belly is glorious. Radish cake is a unique starter. Service is enthusiastic, gracious and very competent. Casual ambiance. Small but adequate wine list. We will return at the first opportunity. Two starters, two mains, two deserts (mooncake was a one-day only special) and five glasses of wine were a bargain at €99.

Amazing restaurant with great prices and lovely service. Owned by a French Taiwanese couple who speak French, Mandarin and English. Their toddler son brought us our menus, it was adorable! Our waiter was great. He explained everything to us and came to clarify if they could ask egg to my dish because I'm a vegetarian. We took the aubergine dish he recommended. The food tastes great and the portions were nice, enough and not too much. The check had a hand written note on it thanking us and telling us to enjoy our night. Just lovely!

This is about as authentic Taiwanese food as you will ever have. We met the owner as we were entering the restaurant and she was gracious to offer us a very limited special traditional rice dish she brought to the restaurant. The dishes are large and very filling, and though they are meant to be shared do not underestimate the quantity served. You will find yourself over ordering thinking that they are small portions. All the dishes were flavorful and the service was great. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try for a real change of pace. Prices are very reasonable.

We sat at the back of the restaurant and were forgotten. We managed to order a cocktail from a waitress who didn't know the cocktails on the menu then when the cocktail didn't arrive we canceled it because the waitress didn't know how to do it...a waiter came to tell us that he would do it... in short we had our cocktail then the starters (marinated eggplant: very good) and the dishes (we had to order rice because there is no accompaniment) then a gourmet tea with 4 small desserts (which I do not recommend at all) Everything was very, very long and there was no professionalism among the waiters (they can pass by your table 2 or 3 times without clearing it). Expensive meal!

absolutely loved the experience at Chez Ajia. I had never been to a taiwenese restaurant and the waiter was super nice and explained the concept of the restaurant, adviced us on the “best sellers” and also explained which dishes were better to share. My friend is vegetarian and the waiter was also really useful telling which dishes would be better. Basically we had a huge feast and everything was delicious!! So we had the vegetarian curry taro croquettes which are a great size portion. We also chose herb marinated aubergines which is delicious and a great serving too. If you like shrimp you must have the shrimp rolls, absolutely delicious! For “mains” we had crispy chicken which is a great choice for kids, delicious and a very generous serving! The star of the night was the clams!! Oh my, so delicious!!! Highly recommend the sauteed clams, best dish we had!!! We had a marvelous experience, plenty of food and everybody was amazing and super nice with us, it was a great evening!

If you are in Paris and you wanna try something new, you have to eat in this restaurant. The place is fabulous and the food is even better. When you are ready to order, you just have to tap the little remote control they give you, and also to ask for the check. Although all the dishes are great, the best one I tried is the pork with cinnamon...absolutely delicious. All the staff is competent and kind, a very professional yet cozy atmosphere. Last, for being in Paris the prices are really affordable.

Really a great dinner! First of all, we were received like queens. We were given lots of explanations about the restaurant, the dishes, their composition, cooking, etc. We were also very kindly guided about gluten-free dishes. The team is really available. The dishes were delicious, I was able to rediscover the flavors of Taiwan, a huge big up with marinated eggplant which is already one of my favorite Asian dishes, but then, a delicacy, they melt in the mouth, the taste is really there. The general atmosphere is very chill and cozy. (For alcohol lovers, Chez Ajia offers Kavalan whiskey, from the first Taiwanese distillery of the same name and which is located in Yilan County (hence the name Kavalan - ethnic group of this region).) Thank you to the whole team for this great welcome and this wonderful evening!

We chose this Taiwanese restaurant to celebrate my birthday with a group of 6 friends, and we were delighted with our evening! The owner of the restaurant, was very caring with us throughout the meal. He knew how to pamper us and make this evening even more special by offering us several little touches, such as cakes for dessert. He even personalized the cashier ticket with a "Happy Birthday", a touching gesture that shows how much he cares about treating his customers well. We also enjoyed the time he took to explain the different dishes, which really enriched our culinary experience. Many thanks to the whole team for this memorable evening! I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an authentic Taiwanese experience with attentive service.

Chez Ajia is a delightful experience. We enjoyed a variety of delicious small plates including their version of gua bao which is one of my favorites and is a blend of French brioche with pork belly and other spices. The owners are a wonderful couple. He is from Paris and she is from Taiwan. They have blended their talents to create Asian - French fusion. The location is in one of the best areas of Paris and we easily walked there from our central hotel location. The restaurant interior is large and comfortable with a garden like atmosphere.

The food was delicious and filling, and the service was very good and very nice. The place is very charming and cozy. Has vegan and vegetarian options. Some dishes are a bit overpriced in my opinion for the amount of food in them (still the taste and quality are very good)
