I was here several times both alone and with friends when I was in Paris. The service is super, the food is good: breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts are good. I recomend the french dishes.

The menu here is varied. We ate here several days and had both breakfast and lunch. All the meals were excellent. The three fried eggs and bacon is a deal at €7.5. It's served with bread. At lunch the Tandoori chicken was excellent and the Club sandwich was also very good. (Both ~€10) The sandwiches were served with a generous... More

Tasty meal. I had the salmon with ratatouille and basmati rice. Just wish the fish didn't have bones. Otherwise it was good. Nice open concept and staff was friendly.

It's a good and cheap restaurant. The foist is tasty and the service was very professional. It was a very good choice for us since it was very close to our hotel.

We liked this place enough to come back after the first try. It's a great corner location to get a drink and snack and watch the world go by, and to have a fine cafe style dinner who's quality exceeds its very reasonable price (cost us about $50 for dinner and a glass of wine/beer each). The salmon was light... More

Excellent find! Great service (exception for Paris), good food, interior light and spacious! Very good value for money. Do come here for lunch (menu for 15 eur) or dinner.

Came here late on a Monday night as it was around the corner from our hotel and it was almost full. Very pleased we got a table as we had a fantastic, reasonably-priced meal. The menu (which comes in English as well as French) includes numerous options for starters, mains, snacks and desserts. We had a serve of delicious, garlicky... More

La Comete does great french food at really good prices and thus it is always busy. When we were there it seemed to have a good mix of both locals and tourists. The food was absolutely great we had the onion soup followed by a Croque Monsieur both of which were delicious. I would strongly recommend!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
