We came with three people from abroad, looking for a cozy "Parisien" place. Le Seiz Maine was perfect in this respect - very charming, a reduced menu with a well selected choice of wines and a very nice atmosphere where we felt welcome and made...at home at all points in time. We were very happy we spontaneously chose this place - it was such a lovely atmosphere, and the food was very well done!More

Set price menu for lunch, entree, main & dessert - good choices, a place locals with only 20 seats. Really enjoyed it and will go back. Open in the evenings as well. A great find off the main road and worth it. Very very reasonably...priced.More

Le seize (16 in french!) Maine is a typical parisian bistrot near Montparnasse station. Easy to find. The waitress welcomes you with a great smile, proposing the menu of the day (3 starters, 3 main dishes and 3 desserts). French bread, butter and water are...offered. You will be quickly served. The cook is typically "french family" like steak-frites-salad. Same for the wines. A nice place to discover the french daily bistrots.the workers used to go in old times. The bill is really soft for a such restaurant in Paris (15 to 20€/person) You won't be disappointed.More
