Classic Bistro Food in Modern Decor Atmosphere

Often in Paris, we "let our noses be our guides" to choosing informal bistros and brasseries. Following that adage proved true once again because Nomad's turned out to have delicious classic French bistro food, with a clean, modern decor and excellent service. I went to this place for a big group dinner a year before and I thought it was an average place (slightly too expensive for what it was). This time a friend recommended their Sunday Brunch buffet. It's priced at 32€ and they have a good selection of plates, but quality is just ok. Service could definitely be better. Wouldn't... More

The design of the place is funky and nice, but the portions are tiny. I'm sorry, but we're not in a gourmet restaurant, let make the portions a little more copious. The tapas - priced quite high, btw - were just for a half a bite. I don't think I'll be back soon.

From the outside in looked great, tables and chairs in psychedelic sixties deco, servers very nice. The food was quite original as well. L'oeuf croustillant was delicious and the entrecôte cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back to check out the rest of the menu.

From the drinks we ordered to the dinner they Iike to guide you through the difference between what you want and what they serve. Then when you ask for the rib steak blue rare and the server recognizes what you're saying and then they serve it well done!?! It was still good but they murdered my steak.

Very relaxed ambience, easygoing yet nice enough. Had the best beef tartar experience in Paris so far. Definitely worth a visit for a foodie lunch.

The place has a nice non-touristy ambience- mostly work people from the area and the food was good. However, the waiter told my friend the soup was vegetarian and we found out it was fish soup. I couldn't have it because it was so salty. The steak was good with mini roast potatoes. But the most fabulous thing was the... More

We ran into Nomad's by coincidence, as we waited in the long queue of our regular brunch establishment next door. We were surprised to see that they had an all-you-can-eat brunch so we decided to try it out. We were impressed by the variety of food, salad, juices, hot drinks, and the best part: desserts. Most of the food was... More

We walked into this restaurant on our first day in Paris. The ambiance I think is what drew me in. Upon sitting down we were given a tapas and drink menu and not the regular dinner menu, so we had to ask to have dinner. Though, I think the time of day it was (6:30pm) they weren't really expecting full... More
