I broke my own rule to not eat someplace where someone is out front trying to entice you in. We both asked for the 3 course 10 euro menu for lunch but were told the 3 course was 12 euro. Since we only wanted a small lunch anyway we accepted that but all the other nearby restaurants explicitly offer 3... More

We went here for our last night in Paris for a nice meal, the waiter seemed OK at the start but then sat us on this Hideous table and wouldn't let us sit where we wanted. Later we moved to another table only to see he had offered the seats we asked for to another couple. We ordered the 12€... More

It's difficult to decide which restaurant to enter once u r on this food street so finding this one quite full we presumed it to be good. The owners serve u the food and don't like it if u find fault in anything. The 3 course dinner starts from $10 and goes up to $18. We had frogs legs as... More

To sum up. We had a good dining experience. The staff is very friendly and nice, they try to speak your language and they're interested in giving you a good dinner ambient. The food was OK, nothing great, but good quantity and fair price.

The place is quaint and the service was friendly, but the food was very mediocre. With so many fabulous restaurants in Paris, I recommend finding somewhere else to eat. On this street alone, there are five similar themed restaurants...I don't know if they are any better, but they probably aren't worse.

In general, I've learned in Paris if anyone tries to push you into their restaurant from the street: Avoid it. The staff here is very kind. The place was clean. The food was definitely cheap (3 course for 10 euro). We were freezing outside and it was cold after exploring through the city and we just wanted to go somewhere... More

got a little sucked into this place from the street and unfortunately my hunch prooved true. While nowhere near as bad as some of the 'crab houses' in singapore, this place was just ok. The food was ok and certainly not revolting, but it was anything but fine frech cousine. Atmosphere was a little bit cheesy but i coud see... More

Found this place just walking the streets of the Latin quarter. The owner was on the street talking to passers-by showing the menu. We had a fixed price 3 course meal with many choices per course. The prices start at 10 euro for 3 courses in happy hour and as it gets busier the price goes up to normal menu... More

Rue Harpe is actually a food street with various road side cafes and restaurants. We were passing by the restaurant and the owner was at the door step and with a welcome smile wanted us to try his delicacies. We were not sure as we were vegetarians. We walked up and down on the street and eventually settled for his... More

If I can give ZERO I would. But I have to give them one star because that's my only option. We live in France part-time and we have had amazing food and great options. With over 13,000 plus restaurants skip this restaurant. I don't even know why this place is even open. We ordered the mussels they were COLD and... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
