Very good, authentic Italian food, friendly service, very busy, bustling (loud) atmosphere. We didn’t reserve but arrived early (8:15). By 8:30 the place was full. I got the escalope milanaise with spaghetti. The veal was paper-thin—it was excellent but two slices would have been nice for the price. The pasta was perfectly al dente and delicious. We also got a... More

Delightful lunch... We shared the Antipasto del Sorrentino (for 2), which was a plate of very tasty cold grilled carrots, zuccini, eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, etc. and a plate of deep-fried calamari. One of us ordered Saltimbocca alla Romana, which came with a healthy side of steamed veggies -- the pieces of veal were thin with a thin layer... More

It's an experience. I'd never seen food prepared at my table in such a way. The server rolled over a cart with a giant, hollowed- out wheel of cheese, scraped out cheese from the center, then set the cheese on fire & stirred the pasta right in. Very, very rich.

Very good Italian cooking by a Sorrentino family. Superb personal service by the owner and her family. Perfect location with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Reservations a must: always full, even in the summer!

We were in a hotel very close to this restaurant and decided to have lunch there, both ordered ravioli, light as every woman I ordered spinach ravioli, we were surprised with boar as micromanagement that looked more like an appetizer, the taste was good, but I sure you have the best restaurants in Paris, besides that, everything is too expensive.... We came to Il Sorrentino last year right before my now husband proposed to me. the food was fantastic. We came back this year on our honeymoon. the restaurant is small/quaint and beautiful! they speak very little English-which is a good sign.
