A nice restaurant in a crowdy place, but the food is very good and the lady outside can explain what you can eat.The tajine is very good and they serve wine and beer.Next time i will go back because of the food.

I wanted to really like this place, but I found myself liking the interesting and verdant ceiling of the restaurant more than I liked the food. It's not that the food was necessarily bad, because it was not, it was just terribly bland. I have had Moroccan food before that was dramatically better. My fellow diner had a nice soup,... More

A good value restaurant for Moroccan food and in particular couscous. The Tagines are equally good and the brique a l'oeuf (fried egg in deep fried batter and still soft when you cut into it!) is delicious

This place came highly recommended and it really delivered the expected quality. The food includes a nice fresh, selection of authentic marrocan dishes, all wet with top-class quality marocan wine, served in a very friendly manner. I particularly enjoyed prune and lamb tagine with couscous and red marrocan wine.

Wonderful dinner in a wonderful place. Food really good, staff likable and charming place. But the best part was the mint drink that was on the house. I rally had fun in this restaurant!!!

This is a typical turbulent restaurant in the old latin quarter. Food is good (we had a Couscous Royal with lots of meat), but a bit expensive at €25/person.

Food was maybe not the best Moroccan I have ever eaten but there was so much of it . The lady touting at the door knew her stuff and made us feel welcome and as tourists that was fun. The place certainly buzzing and we found the experience very reasonable. We couldn't actually finish all the food on the plates... More

One dinner for two. 80 euro with 0,375l of wine. Correct food - nothing spacial, comparing to real moroccan resto it was a disaster. Tagine recommended by waiter was barely good. Ok, soup harira was quite ok and small table in vitrine was - thanks to the view on the street - quite nice. We ordered mint tea, but first... More

We ordered couscous with a variety of meat (hot sausage, kebab, etc) served with a bowl of vegetables in a soupy broth. Meat and couscous were average tasting and too heavy for my own taste but vegetables seemed acceptable. The heaviness effect of the food remained throughout the day, as I was not able to digest the food, and ended... More

I've been there with my brother for his first Moroccan food experience and it was a complete deception. First of all, the lady who received us talked too much, which is a bad sign. Anyway, we gave the place a chance. Useless. First of all, we were promised a drink, which turned to warm cheap rose wine. Service took a... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
