I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Bistro Marbeuf. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit....The attention to detail and personalized service made our evening truly memorable. I highly recommend Bistro Marbeuf for a delightful dining experience.More

Visited on a quiet Sunday morning for crepes, coffee and orange juice courtesy of the Paris Pass before walking down the Champs Elysees for sightseeing. Coffee was fresh and hot, orange juice freshly squeezed, chilled and intensely flavoured, and the crepes were nice but served...cold. Now, I understand that this is acceptable but I really was expecting them to be hot from the kitchen and I think they would've been nicer if served that way. Service was classic rude waiter style - eye-rolling, exasperated sighing, no I'm not going to explain just rattle off the repeated choice of flavours/options as quick as I can so you won't understand me again - just hurry up and leave... The place was ok, the food and drink similar, but the atmosphere was spoilt somewhat by the staff attitude.More

Well done Cyril. One waiter and ir seemed a thousand guests. Very busy at lunchtime but a vast menu at reasonable prices and excellent food Nd service. Superb condition de canard. Good wine at fair prices. Worth a detour.

It was honestly one of the worst places I’ve ever dined at, not because of the staff but because of the manager. He really should learn how to treat his customers! I would not recommend anyone to dine here. I have never felt so unwelcome...and unappreciated at a place before and I honestly feel bad for the staff who needs to work for him.More

Le Bistro Marbeuf was exactly what we wanted for our first night in Paris - a taste of French cuisine without being too fussy or pretentious. We dined with our 2 young children who both enjoyed the chicken burger. My wife and I shared the...meat and cheese platter (with some help from the kids) and the platter was rich in quality, quantity and variety too - a great start to the meal. Our mains were equally as pleasant. As well as this our waiter was extremely friendly, chatting to us, including the children and also recommending some wonderful food and wine choices. Whenever we are back in Paris I'm sure we'll pop in again!More

Exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, good food, and good ambience very well located in Paris. We had the lamb shank and it was delicious:

We found the restaurant walking at champs-elysee and looking in google reviews. Restaurant was full. But soon we got a table. The prices were good. We order a mix border of cheese and salami EUR 25 really huge. For main I got an onion soup...that was Ok. My husband got the lamb chop. He thought would be small chops but was indeed a big chunk. It was overall nice, they brought the bill and took a bit longer to being the card machine. Overall nice. But we had better meals in ParisMore

We visited for dinner and had an enjoyable meal. I read so many reviews and some were quite negative, which I can't understand. I can honestly say we had a great meal and the service was very good, despite the restaurant becoming crowded. The team...there worked really well together ensuring people were served and given attention. My husband had escargot, followed by roast chicken, which he said was perfect. I had salad, followed by salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Our waiter attended to us and yet allowed us the time to enjoy our meal. Would definitely recommend.More

We were 4 adults and 2 babies with strollers. The waiter simply threw us out yelling when we asked if we can have a table for lunch. Obviously they didn't want babies bc the place was empty inside. It's a shame that there are places...like this in a touristic zone. My advice: save your money and avoid a very akward moment and rude treatment!!More

Went here for a special occasion, which was ruined by a rude French waiter (I guess you could say we got the full Paris experience). We had researched the menu for this restaurant and it had a few dishes we wanted to try, so chose...to dine here for a late dinner. As soon as we arrived we were essentially ‘stolen’ by an aggressive front of house waiter and directed to sit in his section, taken from the nice person who had been proceeding to seat us near the back of the restaurant. He yelled ‘champagne?!’ in our faces, and we thought ‘we’ll why not?’ And said yes he started yelling ‘rune argh’ in our faces, not offering a menu. This was the most expensive champagne by the glass (no worries, and we enjoyed it but a choice would have been nice and had we been more than two people, we’d have probably opted for a bottle). Then we ordered food and wine, requested sparkling water that never came. We then had some delicious meals (shouldn’t be a surprise anywhere this close to the champs élysées). We then had the table cleared off and we’re offered desserts. Received a great tarte tatin (truly excellent - do yourself a favour and get this dessert and nothing else here) but the crème brûlée was so-so, somewhat ruined by a piece of congealed ham stuck to the rim of the ramekin in which it was served. At the end of the meal we got the bill and received a charge for the sparkling water. The waiter clearly knew he did not deliver it and when we queried it he was like ‘it’s the champagne, it’s the duck’ we were like no, this charge. And when he finally was like ‘it’s for the gas water’ we said we didn’t get and he took it straight off (obviously knowing he’d never served it). All in all, lacklustre dining experience, we won’t be back.More

We happened upon this restaurant and we’re able to get a table quickly despite not having a reservation. The restaurant was busy and although clearly catering for tourists, there was good choice and at a decent price. The food when served seemed home-cooked and all...four of us enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent.More

I was looking for a dinner place that was close to our apartment and found this place. I reserved through trip advisor and we were promptly seated. We all had different entrees - from beef bourguignon to cod, from roast chicken leg to sausage. I...would say all were well prepared nothing really stood out. Quick efficient server - she was very helpful. All in all a fair option if you are looking for a bistro experience - if anything maybe a little pricey for the product provided.More

Searching for something veggie is always a challenge in France. After passing many overpriced, pretentious establishments with their gold door ropes and fancy but dour looking waiters, we found Marbeuf. The place was local and characterful, the food tasty (omelete, salad and chips for me,...steak and potatoes for my wife), plentiful, good value and most importantly served with a genuine smile.More
