Like others on here we went to this place because we couldn’t get into other places down the road. It proved to be a good choice. I am still bemused by some of the good ratings in TA. This place is absolute trash. I had a banana chocolate crepe that comes with the Paris pass but it was the worst crepe I had ever tasted in my life. The crepe was...obviously not freshly made and reheated. The middle part of it was still cold and it tasted very chewy. The service was also nonexistent. I had to remind the crew after waiting for 20 mins and only then they informed me that they had forgotten to prepare the crepe. No apology was offered and this restaurant is the epitome of French arrogance. I had a look at the menu and items on it are very pricey. Avoid at all cost.More

We bumped to this restaurant because the que at the famous restaurant around the corner was just too crazy. This restaurant was also busy but we got our table. Ordered Bœuf bourguignon, angus steak and escargot. All of them are yummy. We ordered half cooked...chocolate cake as a desert. This one is also yum..More

A block away from the Champs Elysées, this is a place where you'll enjoy some national french cuisine. I had a "quenelle de volaille sauce Nantua", with rice (not enough sauce, but no problem to get some more: very good. Soupe à l¡oignon, beef tartare...and many other different dish from all around France. Globally a good experience, but the overall impression remains "average" on my behalf. For French cuisine, this restaurant offers some typical dishes done fairly well. Service is fine, but like too many restaurants in Paris, the dining room is overcrowded so you feel uncomfortably tight. We tried a variety of dishes, including frog legs, beef bourguignon, and duck....All were OK, and prices were reasonable for Paris. No qualms about eating here, but also do not feel compelled about returning.More

We arrived after the allocated time for our Paris Pass crepes deal, but that was not a problem. Very welcoming staff and lovely setting. Freshly squeezed juice was delicious, and my tartine and coffee was perfect. The children enjoyed their crepes very much.

We were in Paris for one day and after too long a wait at our chosen restaurant we decided to go here instead for a late lunch. Wait staff were rude and did not attend to us until the manager yelled at them and pointed...at us. The servers did not speak English but the first one who came over made an effort to explain the specials. However, when our server came to take our order he was very rude and told us to listen and hurry up (which seemed to be the only two English words he knew) as we were ordering. Friendly staff, authentic bistro feeling, justified prices. The bœuf bourgignon and filet rossini are highly recommended. Would come back anytime.

We came here because of strong Tripadvisor ratings. First off, watch out - bottled water is €8.50! We both had onion soup for starter which was nice. Had an amazing dinner at Le Bistro Marbeuf. Our server was Cedric and he was absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. Wished we had found it sooner as we would definitely have gone there again.

We ate an early dinner at this unpretentious bistro. It's only a couple of minutes walk off the Champs Elysees but offers a much quieter and more relaxed environment for dining. Our waitress, Angela, was friendly and helpful and the food was most enjoyable. We...will certainly visit again the next time we are in Paris.More
