A wonderful little restaurant, small, intimate, romantic, serving amazing food, (we especially enjoyed the pigeon), and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient!

We had trouble making a reservation because their website was not working, so we took a chance and dropped in for lunch. We were welcomed into a chic and lovely room. It was well air-conditioned. They offered us a salmon roe appetizer immediately. Then it was one lovely course after another. The cod fish was especially good.

We were there last Thursday, June 2. Our first experience in a Michelin-star restaurant. Nothing short of amazing. Truly incomparable. Every dish special. The wine selection by the sommelier perfect. Extraordinary attention to detail in every aspect; indeed, an orchestration. Something like this needs to be recorded in detail, so here goes: First, we were offered an aperitif. We opted... More

Friends took me to Itineraires, a one Michelin starred restaurant with less than 10 tables. It is their favorite restaurant in Paris and after having eaten there I now understand why. We chose chef Sylvain Sendra's 8 course tasting menu which he amended with various amuses. The restaurant only operates one service per evening, so there is no rush and... More

This was our son's introduction to a "star" restaurant and we were not disappointed. From the moment we entered it was a semi-magical experience of attentive service and culinary surprises. Occasionally I had the sense that they over-forced the "show" (i.e., the color, pedigree and origin of every ingredient in every dish or amuse bouche) but most people expect it... More

We've been to a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris and this one is by far our favorite. While not quite at the same level as Epicure (only a very small difference), considering the price is about 1/3, it's by far our favorite choice. The food is phenomenal, we've never had a dish which was lacking, and the staff is... More

They were beyond rude! We have loved their food for two previous visits and were so excited to return for our 7:30 reservation. We arrived again to find they needed our table for a 9:30 dinner . Ok - even with our reservations we agreed - but at 9:25... They asked us to move to a new restaurant ... Ok.....All... More

Best meal we had on our trip to Paris. Modern restaurant with nice sized tables reasonably spaced out. We had the Menu Degustation with a great wine and the cheese. Every plate was exceptional. I rarely 'award' five stars!

We happened upon this gem of restaurant as we arrived in Paris waiting for the key to our flat. What a delightful surprise it was! We chose the tasting menu. The food was creatively presented with subtle adornments of herbs, flowers and richly flavored sauces. Every taste was delicious and perfectly balanced. The entire staff was gracious and informative. Service... More

A bit hidden in the 5th arrondissement, at a corner, this dark painted corner building hides a gem amongst Parisian restaurants. With its excellent service, inspiring chef and exceptional food, this is a fine dining experience you must do when visiting Paris. I enjoyed every minute of it and excellent wine advisory!

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
