We ate there last night. The restaurant is very cute, and in a quiet part of Paris. While the food was good and had potential, it lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. The worst was the staff. The servers were unprofessional, rude, and should not be working in customer service. We will not be back for sure.

Very nice bilingual staff, prices normal for a nicer restaurant. Excellent appetizers, even better main courses, and desserts! Very very small restaurant. Bathroom (WC) is a little bit awkward to use, so go before.

I was wanting to find a place open on Sunday night and not too far from where we were staying, we had family join us from Scotland who arrived at about 6.30pm. I had booked for 8pm. The night was a little cool so they seated us inside, our waiter was attentive and was kind enough to inform us that... More

Worst customer service ever, waitress rough, impolite, ridiculous. We couldn't even pay by credit card. Avoid this place

This was my favorite meal of our most recent trip to Paris-- it was just a simple breakfast, but everything was perfect. We stopped at La Rose on the way from our hotel to Sainte Chapelle. Place Dauphine is such a lovely, calm spot, which is surprising given its proximity to Pont Neuf. There are several cafés to choose from,... More

This is right on the Isle de la Cite at the Place Dauphine. While so extremely central, it is a very calm respite where one may have a bite to eat and glass of wine and reflect upon one's day while gazing at the pretty floral trees while dining outside. Ah. I had a very simple meal with salmon and... More

This is a lovely spot on the Isle de Paris. The wait staff are kind and helpful and speak English very well. The food is delicious and served with style. A word of caution. This is a very nice French. Restaurant and definitely not a fast food spot. If you are in any sort of a time constraint beware of... More

Within the Point Neuf area and specifically Place Dauphine, there are several interesting spots but a favorite is La Rose. A glass of Rose to accompany a light salad or a larger lunch special of beef or duck is sure to please.

I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years and have always loved the food, the service is very friendly but the Place Dauphine is just so beautiful and calm, it's such a lovely spot to just stop and be in Paris. I'd recommend it to any friend visiting Paris, travelling solo, a couple or a family.

After a concert nearby we wandered past this restaurant and decided to eat there. Staff not particularly friendly or welcoming. Food however did pick up the mood. Onion soup served in a modern way - very attractive - but lacked depth of flavour. Snails in a herb and garlic cream emulsion were good. Tiger prawns on a creamy risotto (no... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
