we were given a voucher for here and the food, wine and service were outstanding. Even the french to english language was not a problem. Well appointed staff and the paintings on the ceiling were incredible.

Very beautiful location. Ideal to realx a bit while waiting for a train. Fast service, which is good for a restaurant/bar at a train station. A bit pricy though.

I’ve been there on and off over the last 30 years – it’s changed a bit but kept its character which is beautiful and classy but not perfect and yes, it’s still in a train station and that’s what I like about it. It has been spruced up and regilded, its fantastic art deco toilets have been replaced by modern... More

The place is nice but it took us 1,5 hs to have breakfast. They brought the coffee and juice within 20 mins, and then the toasts 45 mins later after asking several times. In the meantime the waiter never explained what was going on.. and the place was not full at all.. Let go that a breakfast for 2 costs... More

I rode the TGV up from the South of France where a cheese sandwich summed up the current state of train dining in Europe. But after a 3-hour dinner at Le Train Bleu, I gave a great sigh that somebody still pines for the days when Hercule Poirot dined well. Le Train Bleu tasting menu is a fantastic experience, and... There was five of us for Christmas Day lunch/dinner and it was a great experience. The ambience of the restaurant was exuding granger and made Christmas special. The set menu for Christmas was divine with seven courses and a good selection of wines. A must visit if you are in APris and want a special place.

This is a lovely place that is a must see if you have the time at the Gare de Lyon. The food is excellent and the decor is beautiful. However, this is anything but a cheep, fast food stop before catching a train. The lamb is excellent as is the wine cellar. Enjoy.

This is another mecca for lamb lovers and another place where they carve the succulent, sumptuous leg right at your table. While it may be located in a train station, which is pretty cool, actually, it’s a tremendously gorgeous and classy place, so fi you go, please put on some nice clothes. As is my custom in great wine regions... More
