Went for dinner, had roast chicken, duck confit, onion soup and creme brulee. Everything was fantastic, the place has a rustic vibe, with an outside seating as well. Decently priced

Great food, cozy ambience, friendly staff and excellent service, great location, and good value too! My friends and I went back here for the 2nd time (our first time visiting this bistrot was in 2019) and we were so eager to come back. We ordered...the steak, duck confit, and salmon tartar - top notch! In addition, the staff was very helpful to explain what was on the menu and could tell he was being very sincere. Keep it up!More
The food was delicious and well cooked. The staff were quick and caring. Their suggested wine accompany the meat was great and not expensive. In general good food for good price 👌 😋
Great food, service and atmosphere. After exploring the Louvre museum we found this restaurant. We came in early, around 6, so it was not busy. We enjoyed all the dishes, onion soup, steak, duck, roast chicken. Service was quick and pleasant. Staff could speak English and gave...us menu in English. Definitely recommend.More
The food was great and the waiters were very friendly. We tried the beef and the duck, in my opinion the duck was the best i have ever tried
The food was great but the service was worst… too crowded and short staff… they should have more staff to accomodate costumers…
Discovered Bistrot Victoires about 5 years ago when we we’re looking for a good confit de canard… and have been going back several times on each visit to Paris. We’ve only been there for lunch when it gets a mix of locals and tourists. Has...a great ambiance although can get noisy. Staff are always welcoming. If you arrive after 12:45pm be prepared to wait. We either try to go early (right after they open at noon) or late (after 13:45) to avoid the wait. Can’t vouch for other dishes because every time we go we pick the confit which is served with lettuce salad with vinaigrette and fried round potatoes (sarladaises) which are great. Confit is very well done (almost burnt) which gives it a rich and delicious flavor. (Can also be a bit salty so if you’re on a low salt diet probably not the best choice.). As for other dishes, they serve an entrecôte with thyme (which gives the place its aroma) that is tempting. (Maybe next visit.) Prices are reasonable and wines we’ve tried have been good.More
Super cheap food of very good quality and perfect quantity. Short menu with mainly meet (tartar, duck and chicken all very very good); delicious escargots as starter! Fast service, efficient and very friendly staff We came once in 2020 and repeated in 2023; prices havent...risen and still so good. 100% would recommended after a visit to the Louvre in the morning!More
My family visited the restaurant to have a try at their duck confit and we totally enjoyed it. The meal was delicious and it was an excellent dining experience for my family at a very reasonable price. We will certainly visit this restaurant again if...we were to visit Paris in the future.More
My wife and I eat our lunch in that place after visiting the Louver museum. We were tired because of walking in the museum but in that restaurant, we were faced with a very good and agreeable welcome by the restaurant staff. The foods were...very delicious and moreover, it had a very warm and cozy place.More
My friend and I came into this bistro and had an amazing experience! We had the escargot which were cooked in a pesto sauce and they were so tasty. Then we were blown away by the duck confit—possibly the best duck I’ve ever had. The...staff were so nice and accommodating of the fact we cannot speak any French. Definitely worth it!More
Over the years, we have visited many times when in Paris and have always enjoyed Bistrot Victoires until today. We went on a Monday evening and the place was fairly busy. We were seated rapidly and both ordered the trademark steak. Today, both of us...found our steaks rather tough and poorly flavoured. So different from previous visits. The overall experience of Bistrot Victoires is enjoyable, and I’m sure this was not typical - disappointing all the same.More
We had just arrived in Paris and wanted an easy bistro lunch. We randomly chose Bistrot Victoires and are very glad we did. The tables are crowded together and the atmosphere was of joyous, choreographed chaos- the servers were all moving all the time- never...bumping into each other but missing by bare inches. The maitre de was a delight- smiling, greeting, checking everything was working. We got the fish and meat plat de jour and both were delicious. Many diners got rib eye that came out with smoking, glowing thyme on top- created a lovely aroma and effect. This is obviously a popular restaurant- we beat the rush, but others had to queue outside for a table. Lots of locals but very friendly to tourists like us!More
Despite some poor reviews, we had high hopes but they were far from met. From the start the staff were off-hand and somewhat unengaged. The food arrived quickly but was very poor. Probably the toughest steaks we’ve ever eaten in France with virtually zero flavour...accompanied by undercooked tasteless chips. We passed on dessert and we were very happy to leave.More
Amazing experience and food! Spot was on a quiet street with sun beaming in! Food and service was amazing. Would recommend!
