I had a hard time choosing among all of the yummy looking desserts, but eventually settled on two individual gateaux. The first was like a key lime pie but with rosemary, which complemented it nicely, and the second was a luscious chestnut/almond mousse. Highly recommended.

The best pastries i have ever tasted. The eclair with hazelnut cream (5€40) was the best eclair i have ever had! I also had some kind of chocolate mouse concoction which was very rich and filling (5€40) but too rich for me. The Tart au citron was amazing and was slightly cheaper at 4€80. Cons, the marshmallows had no flavor,... More

The marshmallows were good, but the pastries were the best I have ever had (and I like sweets). Don't miss it.

We really look forward to coming here every time we are in Paris. Everything we have tried is well presented and bursting with flavor. Grab some treats, walk to the Place de Vosges and decide for yourself

This little gem of a bakery on Rue Rambuteau has among the most gorgeous baked goods I've seen anywhere. Go early or risk missing out on some of the beautiful selection of treats. Check out their website to see some of their creations. [--]

Ex Pierre Gagnaire pastry chefs should say it all. Sublime. Get the marshmallow cake they can't take off the menu. I am not even into marshmallow, but it was incredible.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
