I came back to the café I have visited several years ago... it is a disaster. The waitress gave us a menu without looking at us, then put a tray full of dirty plates(!) on our table and disappeared for 20 minutes. When we were about to leave without breakfast, she appeared again. Then we were waiting again for 15',... More

A nice enough bakery with a friendly atmosphere, service was a bit slow but not bad. They catered to my coeliac friend even though it took a bit of explaining, the burger I had was good and filling, and two of my friends has THE MOST ENORMOUS croque monsieur and croque madame that I have ever seen!

gone here 3 times and we live in LA which is the land of the brunches. really nice setting not a super busy street. crazy inexpensive menu consisting of fresh breads (they specialize in this after all) and organic fare. amazing coffee and servers do their best to navigate through all the people eating here. no reason to go anywhere... Fresh bread, croissants, pots of coffee (no mugs) and fresh orange juice for good prices in Paris. Lovely atmosphere if sitting outside too.

- lovely food , but being ignored year after year by waitresses makes us just buy bread there rather that sit down. We had one last try this trip - and made the mistake of saying we werent ready to the waitress and then despite trying to get the waitresses attention we gave up after half a hour and went... More

Honestly, best breakfast place! Such a cute little bakery where you can also eat, there's tables upstairs, sit there - not downstairs, gets loud and crowded. They don't speak english very well but they are super nice and you can point at the menu and use sign language and you'll be fine haha. It is worth it, promise!

The breakfast was outstanding fresh and made with love. The service seemed a bit low on employees specially when all the tables are full. But yes go there and try the beautiful baguettes.. hmmm worth a visit

Breakfast and service were ok yesterday - though our table was covered in croissant crumbs from its previous users. This morning, 5 minutes after their advertised opening time, brusquely told that they weren't open yet when we dared to even look at a table. I won't bother going there again. There are much better, cheaper and friendlier places in Montmartre

Simple stated, our absolute favorite bakery in Paris. Very friendly service and delicious bread. They speak good English to counter our terrible French.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
