We went here on our first night in Paris due to the good reviews and it being within walking distance of the hotel. And I can say that it definitely lived up to those reviews - it is a cosy spot with friendly staff (who...provides us Brits with a lack of French skills with an English menu without prompt), and a lovely selection of food and drink to choose from. The garlic bread was amazing for starters, I’d highly recommend. And the pasta courses we both had were exceptional (Carbonara and Paccheri alla boscaiola). This restaurant is perfect for those visiting Paris, and if you’re in the area then it’s definitely worth a visit.More

Visited here on first night in Paris. Very reasonably priced. Personable staff who understood English. Tasty food——Lasagne & Quatre Jambons pizza plus Apple upside down cake. If eating when dark outside, ask for a window seat so you can see the cyclists, motorbikes and e-scooters...not having lights in their machines and risking their lives. Would I visit again in in these parts? Yes, except on our second and last night in Paris, we want to try somewhere else.More

Me and my partner ate here when we visited in 2016, so glad that it’s still there, we still think about the food now! We ate there twice in our three night stay, the staff were incredible and the food was gorgeous and authentic! I...asked for a mojito and they didn’t have any fresh mint, I said I would have a different drink but the bartender went to the outdoor market across the road and bought some!! Amazing little restaurant.More

I ate at Adaggio tonight with my husband. We both had pizza. I had Margherita Fresca and he had the Regina. Both were excellent. My husband had profiterole for dessert and I shared some of it. It was wonderful. The staff is very attentive and...the restaurant was very clean and inviting.More

During a short stay in Paris, we were lucky to chance upon the Adaggio. Firstly - the food is fabulous but what made it extra special was the welcome we were given by the lovely staff- and the pleasure to watch the pizzas (best ever...I've ever had) being made before our very eyes. It was obvious there were regulars - and we'd go often if we lived nearer! and there was something of a family party atmosphere every time we went.More

We were very fortunate to find this restaurant right down the street from our hotel in Paris. The staff members, Raphael and Quentin were friendly, helpful and provided an excellent level of service while obviously enjoying themselves too👍😊 We had the margherita pizza and caprina...salad, both excellent! Mickel, brother of Raphael, made the pizzas and they were delicious 😊 this combination was so tasty we had the same all three nights we ate there! In addition, the tiramisu is the best we have ever had😁 The menu is extensive and for every taste and included a good wine selection and cocktails too. Prices are very good! The restaurant is laid out very well with both inside and outside places to eat. We ate dinner for three of the five nights we were in town and always sat at our favorite corner table. If you are in the area, either staying in a hotel or just visiting do not miss this local gem of a restaurant. You will enjoy 👍😊 Bon Appetit...More

Ristorante Adaggio is a great place to eat & is less than a block away from the Hotel Ibis Gare du Nord Château Landon. Both pizzas we ordered were delicious & the service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back to try the pasta dishes....The desserts looked really good too.More

After searching trip advisor we decided to walk and find this place based on the positive reviews. My husband and I visited her last night for dinner. The restaurant very kindly fitted us in without a reservation. We ordered a garlic bread to share as...a starter followed by a pasta dish and a pizza. The food was delicious but beware the pizzas are quite big and would probably be enough to share. Alas we did not have any room for dessert but they sure looked amazing! I would 100% recommend this restaurant, it is small but the staff could not do enough for you. They also had great English... If like us you struggle with French!More

After walking over 17 miles and almost collapsing into our hotel late in the evening, we were so so happy to stumble across this nearby restaurant which looked pleasant from the outside. We ended up having a very lovely meal, including a delicious pizza. Staff...were incredibly polite and attentive and our sore feet were very thankful! We’d eat here again.More

We arrived in Paris at 7pm, very tired and very hungry. We asked the hotel for places to eat and they suggested trying Adaggio. We are so happy we took their advice. A warm welcome and delicious aromas greeted us. The staff were friendly and...polite and offered us menus in both French and English. Bowls of olives were provided whilst we chose our meals. The menu boasted an extensive range of pizzas which were freshly prepared and cooked in front of us. We made our choices, sat back, drank our drinks and grazed on the bowls of olives that kept being refilled without us asking. The pizzas arrived - they were fantastic and it was love at first bite, quite possibly the best pizzas we have had - even better than those we had in Italy. Thé tiramisu was delicious too and we left feeling replete and happy. We returned to dine at Adaggio over the next three nights. Each night we were warmly greeted and our drinks orders were remembered. We sampled the pasta dishes - amazing - and then on the next visit the pizza with meatballs, caramelised onions and fresh cheese. Oh my goodness - what a taste sensation! We learned that the restaurant is family run - everyone pitched in from cooking, making pizzas, greeting guests and preparing the desserts. We can’t wait to go back - we wished they would deliver pizzas to the UK (as someone else said the take out pizzas were very popular). A fabulous discovery. Thank you to the staff at Adaggio for making our trip to Paris memorable!More

We had actually intended to eat at another Italian restaurant in this neighbourhood - but the staff didn't seem very inclined to open anywhere near the advertised 19:30 and we were hungry so we moved on. As a result we discovered the Adaggio and probably...had a much better dinner. It does not look as smart as some of the others around, which may mislead potential customers in what can be a slightly edgy neighbourhood. However, we had an excellent meal - I went for the veal and the Sheriff's Lady had a vegetarian pasta option. The place filled up quickly after 20:00 and there was also a lively trade in take-away pizzas, which looked very attractive. Next time we go, I am definitely ordering one. The house wine was extremely palatable. The buyer obviously knew their stuff. The tiramisu will not be forgotten in a hurry. It's a classic example of a neighbourhood place that focuses on its food rather than its decor and obvious attracts a loyal clientele.More
