In a neighborhood that doesn't have many affordable places to eat, this authentic Italian restaurant really stands out. Not only does it have excellent pizza (some of the best I've eaten in Paris), but their other dishes (orecchiette with pesto and burrata, veal marsala, etc.)...were delicious as well. Great, friendly service in a cozy atmosphere. Grazie mille!More

Pizza’s are absolutely scrumptious! Had to go back again and again. Get the Café grande for dessert. Coffee or tea with 4 small desserts.

Balilli is amazing! The food is sensational. Pizzas are fantastic, lassange I'd fly back for any day. The staff have gone above and beyond for my family. Soccer on the TV, special red wine for my husband, service made me come back twice in a...week that breaks every rule I have when I'm on holidays! Italian in Paris you cannot go past this place.More

Authentic family-run Italian restaurant serving neighborhood locals and visitors alike with warmth and charm. We’ve been coming here for almost eight years and the staff has not changed! The ever present owner (Mr. Balilli) runs the show and his two sons anchor the staff. Delicious...simple Italian classics (pasta, pizza, meats, and fish) are served hot. The neighborhood is charming with the not-to-be-missed open air market on Avenue President Wilson close by (Wednesdays and Sundays 7am-2pm) as well as several wonderful art and fashion museums. You won’t regret choosing Balilli for a family, group, or couples’ lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.More

Loved the food, the pasta with burrata was beyond delicious. The team warmly welcomes you right front he start, a proper friendly Italian family. You surely pay the price for the quality, a pasta €20 can be considered a bit out of budget. Only downside...was the room layout, tables are definitely too close to each other, you can barely breath.More

The 508 Balilla was a compact car designed and developed by Fiat in 1932. It was, effectively, the replacement of the Fiat 509, although production of the earlier model had ceased back in 1929. It had a three-speed transmission (increased to four in 1934), seated...four, and had a top speed of about 50 mph (80 km/h). It sold for 10,800 lire (or 8,300 2005 euro). About 113,000 were produced. I recommend this Italian restaurant to my family, friends and all who visit Paris but wish authentic Italian food with a Italia owner, his 2 sons, and other Italian employees. Researched online and liked what I read, the family is from Puglia, heel of the boot, where the maternal part of my family originated. We had been in Italy for 1 month and in Paris 4 days I can’t go longer without Italian food. Got there at 10:30 pm and they closed at 11. I asked in English…I do not speak French…if they were still open. I can appreciate after along day they may not have wanted to keep the kitchen open. They said “yes” and only thought we were Americans. I am an Italian American with my family all having come through Ellis Island in New York. When I then communicated in Italian, the owner Paolo and his 2 sons, Sandro & Marco attended to us. Not to worry if you don’t speak Italian or French, they speak English. The wall decorations of the Barilla car and scenes of Puglia and the Trulli in Alberobello were fantastic and made me nostalgic as we have been to Puglia many times but not this trip. As I always do with fellow Italians, I made friends with the family and other employees. Food pizza dough bread, salad, lasagna & linguine & clams were as good as Italy. Couldn't resist doing "Faccendo La Scarpetta" which is enjoying what many in Italia consider the best past of the meal, sopping up the remaining sauce. Italians love family, food & soccer. We enjoyed a bit a soccer game on TV. Next time we visit Paris, coming here will be a priority. Buon Apetito.More

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident but what a treat it was. The place was busy with locals and it was a perfect location to soak up some sun and get a lovely lunch! Couldn't recommend enough!

Found this place accidentally after a long business day. Just a bit off the fancy hotels and roads, really a great place if you want something different compared to the typical Paris dinner places. Real Italian, simple, fresh food, excellent prices. I highly recommend it....Forget about Paris for a moment, have a great and simple Italian meal, dive back into Paris :-)More

This place was a real find. Great menu, we had the charcuterie to start and it was a wonderful selection. The Veal Marsala and Fillet Steak were cooked to perfection and the cafe gourmand was the perfect dessert. Service was excellent, friendly and not rushed....Thoroughly recommended.More
