First, let me say the customer service was great and that the waitress was beyond lovely. However, the food was awful. I won't say that I am a master of Indian food, but I can say that I adore Indian food so much and have had many different types in numerous countries....and that this was just terrible! The "pakoras" were... More

We were looking for an Indian at quite a late time and came across this one, as we walked in the staff were welcoming, sat us down and offered us a drink. Food was amazing, however could of done with a little bit more spice. Was a comfortable and warm place, the price was good for the food and customer... More

I don't know about the mediocre reviews below but one of my best meals in Paris was at LePatgaGe. The food was flavorful and the service was outstanding. It is family owned and one of the family members waited on us. She was helpful and friendly and I would go back there for dinner at any time. I highly recommend... More

This was unbelievable! Tiny portions, and no spices used, except perhaps for chillies. Awful, awful, awful! I ordered Chicken Punjabi as a main course - two chicken wings floating in a tasteless tomato sauce. And the prices were outrageous, 5 euro for nan, the kind you buy a pack of 10 at an Indian shop for 2.50. My chicken wings... More

I love the food from this part of the world. In Paris one can find good food from anywhere. The competition is hard so you have to be good to survive. They open at seven(sharp). It is a tourist region and tourists eat either too early or too late.We had to stay almost half hour having beer at an english bar near by(it... More

We were there with 5. Two ordered the special starter indian bbq for ?32 per person to share. Disaster, not enough. no taste!!!! The other starters were only 2 saucages with nothing on the side for ?8. Main dishes were either too spicy or savourless. And separate ordering for the rice for ?5 per little cup. I never ate that... People and the restaurant were lovely but our food had no kick what so ever. Food was fresh and well cooked but like somebody had forgot to add the indian spices. We asked for some extra chili and left the restaurant eventually full and satisfied.

After reading all of the rave reviews for this restaturant we were expecting something special. NOT!!! The food was mediocre at best, the portions were minute, and the price for the small portions was high. Our Dal dish was cold without much taste. The garlic nan was like a cracker and dripping with oil or butter. The lamb and chicken... More

Really great indian and pakistan food at very reasonable prices. The owner/manager and his family are very friendly and highly attentive. They speak French and English. Food comes quickly - and it's delicious!! I recommend the Nan Fromage and Chicken Tikka Massala. Will definitely pass again!

Great place with Indian food for a reasonable price. The only disadvantage - the is no English or Russian menu. But the manager was very once and helpful. So still 5 stars.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
