I loved it! The service was great. It was covered while we were sitting outside and had a very nice walk back to our hotel. I had a cheese burger and it was so good. The crème brûlée was a perfect dessert for a nice...evening. I suggest this place to everyone because it’s too good to be true.More

This restaurant is fairly highly ranked and supposedly having their Bœf Bourguignon "recognized as one of the most delicious beef bourguignon in Paris by L'Observatoire du Patrimoine Gourmand." Well. It was definitely good but also very inconsistent. There were three individuals at our table who...ordered it and each one came with only one of the vegetables they were all supposed to have. That is carrots mushrooms and (cocktail) onions. The only consistent vegetable was the potatoes. The price was 28 Euros. The "roasted farmhouse chicken (leg) granny-style" was tasty but cold. The attention and service were pretty goof given that it was very busy. The (expected) shocker came with the check. It is definitely a place that is a tad overpriced.More

My first time at this popular bistro on the Left Bank. I had thankfully booked in advance and was fortunate to be placed on the outside terrace. Had a warm welcome and instant attention, which is always pleasing. The food was excellent with all five...of my party delighted with their various choices. Unlike some places, there was no pressure to vacate the table and so we had ample time to enjoy dessert and watch the world go by. Well worth visiting.More

Stopped in for lunch as we really like their fries. Sat outside shared a bacon cheese burger with an extra order of fries and a Pelfort beer. Busy place but service is very good. Good for people watching.

The ratatouille was awful tasting full of green and orange bell papers with a side of cold white rice. Pork shoulder was good but only served luke warm with side of Luke warm mash potatoes. Beef stew supposedly their signature dish had no flavor with...3 cubes of beef and 3 halves of finger potatoes. Our drinks had no liquor and were tasteless. The food in Paris is average and overpriced at best. Maybe the locals know where to go. Not impressed with any food in France except in a few small French towns where we had some good food.More

This restaurant was a wonderful experience for our whole family (6 adults). We loved the atmosphere and the food was great. The best part was our amazing server. He was engaging and friendly and the service was the best we had on our trip. I...totally understand why this restaurant gets such good reviews! A delightful dining experience!More

This is a great restaurant. We made reservations for 7 PM on a Thursday night and the place was packed, but they seated us right away. Amazing food and service. Love the vibe.

This restaurant is extremely popular with American tourists like ourselves. It’s exactly the sort of tourist restaurant that we seek to avoid on our travels but it was geographically desirable to our location as we had just finished visiting the nearby Musee d’Orsay. It was...our last night in Paris and it offered continuous service so we decided to give it a try. We had a 6pm reservation but the restaurant was half full. Being bi-lingual, I spoke to the hostess in French and she answered in English and, from that moment on, our entire restaurant experience was conducted in English - English speaking server, English printed menu and as the restaurant filled up with other patrons, every single diner was American and speaking English. As a matter of fact, we ended up having friendly conversations with neighboring tables in our own language too. It was anything but an authentic French experience so if that’s what you’re looking for, this restaurant is not for you. Choose elsewhere with menus printed in French and servers who apologize that their great English is ”not so good”. The food at Les Antiquaries, however, is as authentic French food as you can get and it is incredibly good. Actually, it was some of the best food we’d had all week in Paris. The escargot and onion soup starters were simply delicious and the boeuf bourguignon and duck breast mains were flavorful and memorable. The vanilla Bourbon crème brûlée was simply the best we have ever had. Based on food quality alone, we would gladly dine here again.More

Went on a Saturday afternoon, after visiting the Orsay. If you don't have a reservation, timing is very important; we were able to walk in at 1200 but by 1220, the entire place was full and people were being told an hour wait. Food was...excellent, but expensive (IMO). An entree salad and drink were about 30 euros. Service was very good, everyone spoke English, even when we tried to use our rudimentary French.More

Easy reservations. Poor seat at cold door. Soup served no spoon. Ticket to my table as I was eating. No extra service if you need it. Old Paris with an attitude of rude to this American. Skip it -

Our favorite French meal of our trip. The Onion Soup was THE BEST of the 4 restaurants we tried it in. The Steak Au Poivre was perfection! The chicken was delicious, and the creme brûlée and tarte satin were fabulous. This will be on our...MUST RETURN to list for each trip. Excellent meal.More

Probably since it is a local favorite. But one must have your Covid shot paper vax record if one eats within the restaurant. Not a big deal here since Paris does this everywhere including the Louvre.
