Stopped in after spending the morning in the d’Orsay. Service was fast, staff was attentive, helpful and kind, prices were fair and reasonable, and the food was great. Everyone in our party left happy and satiated. Strongly recommend.

Delicious onion soup, good prawns, very pleasant experience. A good place to rest and recharge after the Musee d'Orsay.

Our group of six popped into this restaurant for lunch while touring, during a very busy time. We were seated quickly, and enjoyed excellent service. It was a warm summer day, and we enjoyed several of the luncheon salads. The chevre salad was divine--just perfect...for me that day. We enjoyed glasses of wine (plenty of choices), and watched people. The restaurant and public areas were very clean, and our server communicated effectively about food allergies (two of our group must be careful). I would definitely recommend this place.More

Great location, and fun upbeat feeling. We started with very tasty oysters, shucked just outside the front door and served by our helpful and very busy waiter. Four of us dined: Grilled Prawn = good, Langoustine = good, Steak = bad, Cobb salad = bad.

Delicious and real without a sense of “snob.” The oysters from the ecailleur on the street from Normandy were stunning. Selections from the bar as well were exceptional including many wines and cocktails. The main courses of Octopus a la Plancha and Boeuf Bourgogne a’...la Maison we’re immaculate. Desserts were fresh and warm as Tarte Tatin and Crepes Suzette Flambee. Digestifs and coffee were wonderful. It’s a neighborhood joy. Open late tooMore

We were 4 diners who had had high expectations, but unfortunately, not everything was to our liking. This is obviously a very popular restaurant, and the atmosphere was very lively, but we felt that it was too noisy. Once we were seated, we were given...menus, and while we were discussing the options, we realized that there were pages missing in 3 out of the 4 menus. Of course, the waiter rectified the situation once we drew his attention to that fact. Speaking of the waiter, he was very friendly and eager to please, but we felt that the restaurant was short-staffed, and at times, it took a while to get his attention. Regarding the food, my duck breast was disappointing because it was tough, and my husband's steak was just average. One friend had the beef bourguignon, and she said it was just so-so. On the other hand, I really loved the Caesar salad, a large portion, which my husband I shared as a starter. The chicken wasn't the typical chicken found in a Caesar salad......it was breaded chicken, like a cutlet, and it was really delicious. One friend had the same salad as a main course, and she, too, found it very tasty. My husband and I shared the tarte tatin for dessert, and that was excellent. It was supposed to come with creme fraiche, but I requested vanilla ice-cream instead, and that made the dessert perfect. All in all, we felt that our experience could have been better.More

Our party had a lovely lunch here after a visit to the Musee D'Orsay----just a quick walk down the side of the Museum to the cross street. We had a friendly waiter---which is certainly not always the case in Paris---and he gave us efficient service,...which is also not always the case. I had the French onion soup and some of their yummy bread for lunch based on the recommendation of other travelers, and I really liked it. Despite it being Paris, the quality and style of French onion varies widely between restaurants, but this version was both delicious and filling. Everyone at our table seemed to enjoy what they ordered, and, while the prices are a little high, you do get good food at the end of the day. I would recommend this option, especially if you are visiting the Museum, the most delightful in Paris.More

I thought this was going to be a tourist trap. It's a lovely cafe with great staff and the food is very high quality. We have been 3 times already in our ten days and are going agin tonight. I can recommend the Vongole Pasta...and the Beef speciality. Also the breakfasts are very good and cite is great.More

Nice place with courtesy people, but a little bit expensive. A bottle of still water 8.80€ is pretty unacceptable!!! 3 person with 3 cheeseburger, water and beers 99.90€!!!

Had a great dinner here on a Sunday night. It was extremely crowded - reservations a must. The waiter we had who was from Shanghai was hilarious. Had beef bourguignon and duck breast - both were great. The potatoes daphanois were amazing - best I...have had. Also had a charcuterie platter to share that was ample and tasty. Really enjoyed the meal.More

We looked around for someplace a little special for our last evening in Paris. This fit the bill. It looked very nice inside so we ate there rather than the outdoor setting. The waiter was very accommodating. When he saw me fanning myself with the...menu, he opened up windows behind us. Perfect. We ordered ravioli, tortillions and salads. Delicious. Surprised our bill with two entrees and two salads plus wine was very reasonable.More

Came here for lunch & had the French onion soup & beef bourguignon…beef had huge tough pieces of meat & very little thin sauce. Onion soup had kind of a sour aftertaste. One of my friends with us had a Poke bowl and she seemed...to enjoy that though. We sat outside & it was a lovely place & atmosphere.More

Probably since it is a local favorite. But one must have your Covid shot paper vax record if one eats within the restaurant. Not a big deal here since Paris does this everywhere including the Louvre.
