A fantastic bargain, very romantic location, exemplary service. As with many, if you are elbow to elbow with the locals, you know that you're going to get amazing food.

What a great restaurant- decor, food, wine, service were all excellent. We did not have a reservation and were very lucky to get a table. Strongly recommend you reserve before hand. The duck with orange sauce, puree de carrot and chicken with puree de pommes de terre (mashed potatoes), wonderful dessert lemon tarte and a great bottle of wine. What... More

We have been going to Rotisserie Beaujolais for over 20 years whenever we are in Paris. The parent restaurant--the great Tour d'Argent--renovated the space and added a boulangerie on the space. We went with some trepidation the first time, but were delighted! The space is wonderful after the renovation with an open kitchen and terrace. The food is wonderful and... More

Nice restaurant with an excellent location, very close to Notre Dame, Seine River and Saint Germain Boulevard. The food is good, even if it is simple. We had a very good red wine from South of France, Bandol. The roasted chicken was good. The only point is that you can find the same quality of food and service in other... More

We came here for the roast chicken and boy was it good ... so good that we returned a few nights later and ordered it again. All of the starters and sides were likewise superb. The newly renovated decor is bright and clean. Desserts from the adjoining bakery were out of this world. We also loved our fun, friendly server,... More

We visit this restaurant each time we come to Paris. We were there recently and enjoyed the renovations. The restaurant is brighter and they moved the kitchen. Also they added a boulangerie adjacent to the restaurant. We enjoyed the fruit tartes for dessert and the excellent bread. The chicken and mashed potatoes were better than ever and the staff was... We came here on the recommendation of a friend and it hit the spot. Attentive staff (by French standards); excellent cheese plate appetizer, I had the roast chicken which was delicious and my husband had the steak which was also delicious but cooked a little less than the medium he asked for. It's very simple hearty fayre so don't go... More

What joy!! We walked down the Seine and walked into this outpost of Le Tour D'Argent. It's roasted meats were superb. An open kitchen adds a theatrical touch to a near perfect experience! Should not be missed.

Rain, rain and more rain. We didn't want to stray any farther from our apartment than necessary and still have a good dinner. We remembered a recommendation of six years before and crossed the bridge to this wonderful restaurant in the shadow of prestigious La Tour D'Argent (which years ago we were told was the owner??). No reservation but we... More

My friend and I visited this delightful restaurant for our last evening in Paris. The Staff were extremely welcoming and our embarrassing lack of conversational French with the waiter's limited English at first led to difficulty, however the Manageress was marvelous with great recommendations of their fine cuisine. I enjoyed snails to start and my friend the house terrine. Both... More

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
