We was located on a hotel a few blocks away from this restaurant. Great food and very different prices from the other restaurant in the main street. Very friendly service.

We enjoyed our annual Indian food feast during the Xmas season in Paris. The food was not as spicy as previous experiences in Paris but was acceptable. And yes, we observed the small insects flying around.
A brisk 3 minutes walk from Hotel Ares Eiffel if you want Indian food. Food was decent, European-Indian food with less spices and oil. Found a problem with the small insects around that are usually found where there are fruits and vegetables. Owner was kind...enough to explain the routes. Good to give it a try!More
I came to Paris with my husband on a honeymoon and we were having difficulties in finding halal food. We were recommended by a mutual friend to check out this place where there's Indian food served. The staff was really friendly and the chef actually...came up to us and made a conversation with us. Their customer service was really good and the price was very affordable. The food was really authentic and we couldn't resist coming back here again the following day.More
We visited Paris in September 2018. This hotel was close to timhotel tour Eiffel that we were staying . Restaurant opens at 7.00PM for dinner. We were little early and standing outside. It was nice of them to allow us to make ourselves comfortable as...it was bit chilly in the evening . Mr ALAMGIR took excellent care of us . We ordered palak potatoes, yellow dal, rice , baingan bharatha and roti. Food was cooked to the perfection and without doubt excellent. Mr ALAMGIR had great sense of humor. We went 3 days for dinner out of 4 days in Paris . I will certainly visit this place if I will be in neighborhood and recommend this place for dinner .More
Excellent Chicken & Lamb Tikka Masala. Nice quiet atmosphere just off the main avenue. Delicious meat samosa and for dessert strongly recommend the Pistachio ice cream - absolutely terrific!
We went to this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. The food was ok but the staff had bad attitude. They were more inclined towards pleasing the local French folks than us. I would never go back nor would recommend this place. We...have visited many Indian restaurants all around the world but never experienced such bad attitude from the staff ever.More
We stayed quite close to this restaurant and decided to go for a dinner one evening. the place is quite outdated and the staff is not very friendly. This was our 2nd indian restaurant in during our 4 day stay at Paris and apparently -...we found that the service is quite poor as a standard and the quality / tone of conversation changes for white skinned people - very strange. Never experienced this throughout my travels. We were not sure of the food quality when ordered, but thankfully the food turned out to be much better than the service and better than we expected. I would not go there unless I badly want to have Indian food.More
After a long tiring day in Paris we fancied some Indian food. We looked this up on trip advisor as it's location is close to the Eiffel Tower. What a waste of time. The ambience is completely outdated and the place needs loads of tlc....We sat by the bar where the bartender broke a glass and everything came flying on us. The staff didn't bother to ask or check,we had to make the staff aware about the broken glass in out plates. The food was highly disappointing. It lacks taste and there is nothing traditional about it being classed as Indian. Please avoid at every cost.More
This restaurant is good but the management is poor. The treat you depending on your skin colour. These people don't treat Indians properly.
Gem of a restaurant..great service..good food. Prompt service. Food with a slight Bengali touch so expect sweetness in all food. You have to ask for spice. Can't complain though.. highly recommended. 1 dish feeds 1. Butter chicken was yummy. Limited beer choice. Chicken curry is...good too . We had 4 meals there. Chicken tikka masala is good too.More
Conveniently located right outside my hotel (Tourisme Avenue), Raja Maharaja delighted me with quickly served delicious and fresh Indian food. Would come again!
We visited Paris with family (five of us) from 25 to 29 June 2017 and were staying at Hotel Ares Eiffel. My parents in law were keen to eat Indian food only so I searched and found the name of this restaurant before arriving. It...is just 3 minutes walk from where we were staying, so very convenient after a hectic day of sightseeing. The restaurant has no AC, they may arrange for table fans though. It was warm inside in June. We preferred sitting outside, on the pavement as it was breezy and cool but as it is located in a by lane, the atmosphere was quiet, dust free and good, in general. Regular Indian food like, Naan, Sabji, Butter Chicken, Chicken curry, Shrimp Pakora etc are available which was OK in taste and satisfactory although not great anyway. Best part is chatting with the staff there in our mother tongue and discuss a lot of things in a relaxed, carefree ambience.More
We dined at Le Palais de Raja Maharaja after reading decent reviews and because it was walking distance from our hotel. We love Indian food but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was awkwardly quiet (no music) and somewhat empty during prime dinner...hours. The service was horrible... there were two men who seemed to be the only ones taking care of guests, and it was impossible to get taken care of. They were constantly running around, passing our table, and we had to ask for things numerous times. It took us 3 attempts to get the WiFi password, water refills, and 3 requests to finally get the check. The food was also disappointing... tasty, but the portion sizes are shockingly small! I ordered the Chicken Korma and my fiance ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala. Both dishes were swimming in sauce, and we each only had 6 small pieces of protein in our dish! I have never seen an Indian restaurant serve such skimpy portions of meat! We were pressured to order two orders of rice and naan when we could have easily shared one. Definitely did not get our money's worth! The service was horribly absent and inattentive, and the food portions were not nearly filling for what we paid. I honestly regret dining here and do NOT recommend it. You will pay too much for just 6 pieces of meat...More
Very friendly owner and really awesome food. We were hunting for vegetarian food during our 4 day visit and we ended up eating here almost every night and hated any Indian restaurant we went to for lunch in comparison. Must try for visiting Indians especially...vegetarians.More
