Went as a treat while on holiday. The food was delicious, particularly the cumin lamb and the spicy cabbage, both of which were a treat. Great staff and service.

Distinctly average food compared to the Chinese restaurants in the U.K. and UAE. The 'stand out' dish was the bacon chilli dish. Everything else we ate was well below par: chilli chicken, crispy duck, fried duck, pork & noodles, and Chinese vegetables. The service and decor left a lot to be desired.

I think this place may be slightly overrated but the raviolis aux crevettes (shrimp dumplings) were among the best I've ever had so that alone makes me want to return. Service was excellent and they happily package leftovers which is a nice bonus.

I have heard about this restaurant from different Asian friends living in Paris. All came with good comments. I went there for lunch last week and ordered a pot of sour spicy fish. It was very delicious. Fish fillets were fresh, with plenty of veggie and tofu. I finished it all with a bowl of rice. The lady owner is... More

I have been there due to friend's recommendation and it turned out super worthy. Food is quite good both for Chinese and westerners. Service is perfect with kind waiters as well as comfy environment.

This is the first time here, great experience in Paris! This is the best Chinese restaurant I have been both in Paris and Manchester! I would like to go there again next time!

We have an apartment just down the road from this place, and didn't go until relatively recently as it looks nothing special. However, it is. Hunanese cuisine is quite different to and much spicier than most of what you might find in a "standard" Chinese restaurant. Obviously this doesn't please all palates, as per Graham S's review from June '15.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
