The welcoming is short and swift. The selection is classic Indian menu, the butter chicken was good but not exceptional. The dish were normal in quantity. The Naan was good and promptly served upon request for more (freshly baked). Reasonable pricing and quick service. It is the kind of service you would want when you want to spend time visit... More

The food was good. Portions should be more generous. Small bowl with a couple pieces of chicken in sauce is not enough. One waiter was friendly and always smiling. The others not so much. Place was well located near the chateau with a good view.

Maybe ist was because we were the first guests in the evening. The courses followed so quickly that we had little time to relax. The food was good, but not exceptional. It lacked a heater for the main course, it cooled down to quickly.

Tired & hungry, I was thrilled to see they offered take-away (a emporter) ordered palak paneer, dal & nan. When I got back to my hotel, I discovered their palak paneer was actually spinach swimming in a disgusting cheddar cheese sauce and the dal consisted of a tablespoon of lentils in a pint of oil! Furious, I immediately gathered the... More

The Maharadja is located next to the castle main entrance. This is probably the only advantage. Although service was fast and kind, food proved very difficult to digest (we all had to do a long night walk to eliminate calories) as dishes were served with high-fat sauces and dressing. As we are used to excellent Indian food in Dubai, we... More

One evening, out of curiosity, we headed to an eatery that calls itself an Indian restaurant - Le Maharaja, which it turned out, was run by Bangladeshis... The food itself was bad, no way closer to what Indian cuisine is. The naan was very crisp and not soft and fluffy as it is supposed to be. The daal (lentil gravy)... More

Ok, so we visited an Indian restaurant whilst in France! I'm glad we did. The food and service was very good and very reasonably priced for the location. It was also nice to see local people eating there, as well as tourists. Well worth a visit for a pleasant lunch.

Excellent, moderately priced, delicious. Went back on two successive nights and should have gone again! Very reasonably priced. Not fancy décor but not needed with such excellent cuisine.

My husband and I enjoyed our meal here. Although it was busy we were served very quickly. My husband felt the food was a little bland compared to what he was used to but my meal was alright.
