The set menu was well priced and the food pleasant without being outstanding. The ambiance of eating outside on a summer evening was very nice and teh staff were efficient.

we stumbled across Da Mamma after getting lost and thankfully they took pity on us and gave us a table. What a lucky break for us - the food, the staff and the ambience were all brilliant. You can watch the chefs at work (and they work very hard!). Very, very popular with the locals so to be sure of... More

The setting is nice and the restaurant is certainly busy. However service leaves a lot to be desired, food is average and overall experience not great. I was seriously put off by several chefs smoking directly outside the kitchen and blowing the smoke inside. They chose to have an open kitchen on view of everyone on the terrace, great if... More

We had a great night in Da Mama. The location and atmosphere is perfect. The staff were so friendly hard working and helpful. The food was lovely and tasty. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for tomorrow evening.

This is one of the best restaurants in Ajaccio we've tried. Food: good, it was served hot, and looked clean. I'm a fan of Soupe de Poisson, I could say that the one I tried in this restaurant was the real one. Because we could taste the small piece of fish, and texture was dense. Service: nice, smile 😉 Decoration:... More

Hard to spot quality place located in a back alley. Very friendly and observant (not always the case in France ...) staff that spoke good English, kept our bread basket and water bottle constantly filled, recommend an excellent local wine and so on. The food was also excellent so we all left well satisfied ...

It could be only a bad day as this restaurant had good reviews but our experience was really bad. Food took ages to arrive, meat arrived rare when asked for mid to well done; fish with muscatel wine was tasteless... Real disappointment!

Little gem in a hidden street. Small menu but freshly made. Verry friendly staff. Can sit outside and not be troubled by passage. Fish soup was very tastefull. Wine of the month was recommodated and was excellent. Will come back.

Everything is shut on a Sunday night in Ajaccio but this place is open and everyone was there! Crowded into an alley and so busy the waitresses were running out and in at high speed. Lovely seafood, we all had sea food, langoustines, sea bass, gambas flambees. Cooked just right. Italian themed desserts, with a Corsican twist.

We have been in venice for 3 days and were sick of getting asked into places that all sold the same food! We came across Da Mama which is nicely tucked away but still easy to find. The food and service were the best we had. Would highly recommend the carbonara 👌🏻👌🏻
