This is a great tour with a very enthusiastic French guide. The art and sculptures give it a point of difference, and the champagne is very nice

The tour takes us down into the caves with quick explanations of the wine-making process and the history of the crayeres (caves) but our guide was ill-tempered and we felt unwelcome there. The tasting at the end was nothing to write home about. If you want a big house tour experience, go to Veuve Clicquot two blocks away (much more... More

Amazing experience, the website pictures are accurate. The tour has got to be the best to see by far, not only caves but interior art, and the shop was decent prices.

The caves are pretty impressive and the artwork and bas reliefs are beautiful. Didn't find this tour as educational as the Veuve Cliquot tour. At the end, our guide just waved us over to the tasting area and the guy there was not ay all engaging. We were poured our 1 (or 2, whichever option was chosen) glass/es and left... More

Blue is Madamme Pommery's favourite colour and that is why all of the bottles are blue! There is also some fascinating art work on the tour. This is a must!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Pommery tour - we booked in advance but you can easily do so on the day. This is one of the biggest champagne houses in Reims and has some of the deepest vaults. Insightful and interesting tour, which included tasting of two champagnes at the end. Not a great 'bar' area to sit and enjoy your drinks...but... More

We enjoyed a very interesting and thought provoking tour of Pommery and champagne tasting. Our guide spoke excellent English and had a lovely manner of imparting knowledge and involving all her group of visitors. We learned a great deal about the processes of champagne making and the importance of Pommery in the development of champagne.

We have a fabulous tour guide for our 30 min tour at Pommery. He really made the experience. It is a slightly more mainstream tour so ideal if you are only visiting 1 champagne house. You learn the basics and history and of course enjoy a glass or two after your tour! TIP: if you are staying at Les Crayere's,... More

Champagne tour in the Pommery was really interesting. The children enjoyed it too. We chose the 30 minute English tour which included a glass of champagne afterwards. It was delicious!! Only downside was the children are not given anything to drink- some apple juice or even a cold glass of water would have been nice for them.

If you love a good French champagne, this is a beautiful house to visit. The cave tour is offered with English speaking guides. You here the history of the house, learn about how champagne is made, and see the caves -- which store 22,000,000 bottles -- that is not a typo! Cheers!
