This is predominatly a fish and seafood restaurant and the quality is fantastic, the restaurant is huge and meanders around a bit but can cater for any size group. The food and wine selection is huge and just makes you struggle what to choose in a nice way though, when the food comes it is really good BUT.. the whole... More

I was looking forward to eating here as we have always had good meals in the past. The restaurant has been redone inside and looked very inviting. The starter was easy, prawns, for the main I ordered the fish mixed grill which sounded delicious, big disappointment! The salmon was overdone, the smoked haddock was very salty, the scallops were barely... More

We were about 14 in our group and was Wednesday evening, came across Le Paix and the terrace in front was not busy and so asked the waiter if we could bring tables together - He said no you can eat inside. As we wanted to sit outside on such a fine evening we walked off. Luckily the manager saw... More

Love this restaurant which was recommend to us by one of the locals. Food was incredible. Make sure you brush up on your french because the waitstaff made no attempts whatsoever to try to speak English. That's okay though, hand gestures, grunting and pointing will get you through most things.

Much better outside than inside. The interior was very bland. Had a burger which was average, the fries were poor.

Normally I don't know but I follow a general rule of not eating at the hotel where you are staying because it just robs you of the pleasures to go around and discover But it's good that my friend decided to break the rule and we ate at this place which is attached to the best western hotel. Food is... More

We ate here three nights. There are other people coming and going, but it is not frantic like the main cafe and hotel area a blast cl or so away. Service and food were excellent.

A lovely restaurant attached to the hotel of the same name. Very friendly and efficient, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was from a wide ranging menu with masses of choice all beautifully cooked and presented. We had eaten here a couple of years ago haven fallen foul of the Le Gaulois on a Sunday evening (don't). Would heartily reccomend.

Went early midweek for dinner. A mix of diners. locals and tourists. Smart modern interior with booths and open tables. We selected an entrecote steak dinner and sole. The steak was large, tender and perfectly cooked (rare). The sole whilst delicious, was not filleted well (at the table). I think the guy was more interested in showing off his filleting... More
