In a street full of restaurants this was a standout! Quite a small restaurant with charming service both from the owner and his English speaking assistant. I think anything on the menu would be good so take a chance and order something different. Top marks for presentation and quality of food. Prices for food and wine very good value. Book... More

This restaurant was recommended, and we had such a delicious meal, beautifully presented that on my return to Tours, I went back with a different group of friends. Service was excellent, everyone was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Nice small restaurant on the main eating out street in Tours. Top quality French cuisine at very good prices with a good wine list. Friendly service, though restaurant does/did get busy. Overall, highly recommended

Very good choice if you can get in. It's a popular bistro with good reason, good value and good food. Timely service, our experience didn't replicate other's experience.

This is a great small restaurant. It was full on Bastille Day so service wad a little hectic. Had early reservation so we got a head start. Definitely worth a visit.

Saw this restaurant on probably one of the busiest nights on the French calendar. Every restaurant was jam packed, but this one offered us a table for two. The food was outstanding. Highly recommended, especially considering that they were full to capacity. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. My wife and I opted for the discovery menu, which... More

Did I ever tell you about my holiday with 4 friends in the Loire Valley, France? In the town of Tours there are many eating establishments. Le Laurent is situated in a street full of them - and more than one or two interesting antique shops nearby. That's the kind of area it is ,,,and full of French goodies. And... More

Really enjoyed our visit to Le Laurenty. The place is lovely inside, quite cosy. Service was excellent. Possibly one of the more expensive restaurants we went to during our time in Tours but the food was worth the price. Really enjoyed the food especially my lamb main and dessert was fab also. The French know how to do Dessert! Would... More

We just stopped by late an evening and the fish plates were soooo good. Highly recommended! Service was great too and they played 50s music that evening.
