This is a family run restaurant with a carefully thought through menu. The courses although not inexpensive were superb and so well presented it was not possible to resist enjoying three courses. A very good selection of local wines to compliment dinner and an amazing selection of single malt whiskeys to select from.

We loved this place. On the outside it appears just okay, on the inside a little formal, but the son, mother and family quickly show true hospitality. Beautiful French dinner plates and nice ambience. A cute French restaurant overall. Food--superb. Started w a Warm shrimp salad , main was sweetbreads & the standard cheese plate of course. The son recommended... More

If you tire of "traditional" French food, do seek out Le theleme. It's more modern than most other restaurants in Tour and its service and decor were both of high standards. I was happy with both my starter and main but the dessert fell short, a bit too short. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this restaurant because it's not heavy... More

La Theleme is a first class find very close to the main train station and the Mercure hotel - who recommended it to us the first time. This was our second visit here for dinner (the first time, last year), and it remains excellent quality and value. €30 fixed price menu for three courses, plus house wines at sensible prices... The quality of food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the food but it was not really Japanese but for Yuzu and shitaki mushrooms. I had langoustines which were expertly cooked and a steak that melted in your mouth. Very Good.

I've avoided this place before as it seems a bit pricey and a little pretentious. However, I spotted their midi lunchtime deal and had an excellent dinner with wine for 21.50 euro. My main course was a very nice fish dish, beautifully-cooked. I had to wait a while because it was busy, but it was well worth the wait.

This is a lovely restaurant in an area away from the main restaurant hub. We chose the cheaper option of 2 courses each for $26 euro each, and it was excellent! We still enjoyed plump scallops, beautiful salmon carpaccio with sorbet, then duck and fish which were good portion sizes with well balanced flavours. Complimentary nibble starters and bread, plus...
