The service was beyond expectations. We appreciate every moment in the restaurant. The atmosphere is great for a couple. I'll give 4 stars because There's not so much choice in the menu especially for vegetarians BUT the food is very tasty. So is the dessert!

Made a reservation by phone in the afternoon for a table in the evening. A warm welcome with refreshing towels. Nice table on the first floor. Fresh starters with Thai fresh springrolls. Three plateservice maincourses (see pictures), and some lovely desserts with coffee (Nespresso) and...frewsh Thai rice-tea. Had a real nice evening, thank you.More

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food really good. They have taken traditional Asian dishes such as Pad Thai and given them a really modern taste and look - “gastro-Thai”. We didn’t have a reservation but they found a table for us. Definitely recommend...this restaurant.More

The upstairs room is really lovely, and they gave us a spacious table with room for a stroller. The menu is not particularly vegetarian-friendly, but when we explained that there were two people in our group who didn't eat meat, they made those dishes with...tofu instead of chicken - super friendly staff, and really accommodating for large groups/dietary restrictions. We would absolutely return. :-)More

We were there before national holiday - Aug 14, 2019. Before this, we tried many restaurants, but were refused due to fully book before holiday. There were whole bunch of people, looking for something to eat. Thanks for refusing us, those restaurants. We finally got...to Mao, and we had wonderful dinner. It was more than expected. We would like to come back if we visit Tours again. Modern Thai and French great combination! Highly recommended. Phad-Thai was really good!! The garçon who served our table was extremely friendly. I’ve been to MAO just a week ago as I had heard very positive things about the food they were serving there. To be honest not just the food but the service too was absolutely amazing. The waiter was really friendly and proactively helping you...out with recommendations and with all that you could need for having a great time. I had a tuna steak which was prepared in a very special way that I had never even seen before. I won’t spoil the surprise but all I could share is that it is a must try! We chose the coconut cream brûlée as a dessert to top it all off and needless to say it was out of this planet. If you are in tours then make sure to visit this fine establishment if you want to it top-notch meals and have extraordinary service. but don’t forget to call in advance to reserve a table as they tend to get really busy during the weekend.More

If you are fed up of average French dishes and the unimaginative cuisine, this is a great little find when in Tours for something alternative. It's got a great value plat du jour for around E13. Quality of all the ingredients is top notch -...beautiful stir fried beer and freshly made spring rolls. This is a fantastic Thai restaurant, I would highly recommend.More

Upstairs is a rather interesting place. We had not booked but we were able to get a table in the passageway upstairs, it was fine. Very busy, understandably because the food was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely go again.

After being rudely welcomed by waiter, we were taken care of by the manager. Waiters ignored us on purpose - the manager realized after 20 minutes we were not given any menu and our order was not taken yet. However, the food was really tasty...and dish presentation was nice.More

Such a bad welcome from the staff, all very rude, they said "It's not my job to speak english". We have to wait 1 hour to have our starter, and 20 min for the drinks. Taste is not bad but it's overpriced and nothing wow....High expetation before to go ... just dont waste your time and money there.More
