We ate here with our two teenagers on Saturday night. The food, wine and service was excellent. Very good value!

We were recommend to go here from our hotel staff. We felt rushed and like they were annoyed with us. I can speak some basic french and we had a very difficult time communicating, which I never felt but here on our three weeks in country. We ordered wine and I went with the poached eggs, and husband went with... More

We had dinner here twice in our two week stay in Tours...we never do that! Lovely decor but could use a more touch just to brighten it up. However, the food and sevice needs no improvement. Two menus, both well priced for the quality and quantity. We had difficulty deciding what to eat, but in our two visits, had fish... More

We stumbled upon this quaint little French restaurant in Tours. It was excellent! They were so polite And helpful. Spoke very good English. The 3 course dinner was amazing. And very reasonable prices! We recommended to others we met on trip. Great first dinner on trip!

The food here is to die for. I had poached eggs in Chinon sauce (which tasted like treacle) and pate de foie gras for a starter, followed by the tenderest of pork tenderloin. The tenderloin was served with sweet potato, courgettes, onion. For dessert I chose a cheesecake with a base of chocolate biscuit and a strawberry sorbet all of which... More

We visited Tours as a family, searching for authentic French food which would also cater for my 10 year old daughter, who has Coeliac disease. The previous evening we had eaten at a very average brasserie which was clearly a tourist trap in the centre of Tours, where we literally had the bill thrown at us at the end of... More

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Great regional food. Eggs poached in red wine topped with Pate de Foie Gras. Don't hesitate, just try it. Fish and pork were both great too. We went twice so also tried Canneloni filled with crab, mango and nuts. Very pleasant young man seemed to be running the place and doing a great job of... More

On a hot, summer night we were pleasantly surprised with a refreshing salad, terrific wine and a quaint atmosphere. Definitely a restaurant to visit and pass an agreeable evening with friends.

Le Turon is a quiet, small restaurant fairly near the cathedral. The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. I had foi gras, 7 hour cooked lamb, and chocolate cake with liquid filling. Everything was superb but the star of the show was the lamb. It was soft top the point that it dissolved but retained...
